Qatar Airways currently depart from Terminal 2 at Copenhagen.

I do like the unique CPH plane outside the terminal building.

I just got a check-in confirmation online when using the Qatar Airways app, so had to go over to the counter in order to get my boarding pass.

Check-in was smooth, with a dedicated area for those flying Business Class or with Privilege Club status.

Success! Boarding pass obtained and I got the window seat, too. I was originally booked in 5E, but the agent swapped me around with no fuss.

A QR business class ticket also includes CPH Express Fast Track security.

I also got a glimpse of the Lego security guard in the security lane.

Qatar Airways usually use the Eventyr Lounge here at Copenhagen but, at the time of recording, it was undergoing refurbishment so lounge access was temporarily moved over to the Aspire Lounge in Zone A.

It was very busy, but nicely designed, just on the smaller side.

I grabbed an ice-cold Tuborg (in a Carlsberg glass!).

And a beef, crispy onion and horseradish smørrebrød.

Now, rather embarrassingly I nearly missed my flight. Too relaxed in the lounge I was, I got the notification through the QR app and had to make a run for it.

After getting a sweat on, I got to the gate only to find the cabin crew hadn't yet boarded, so I knew I'd got a bit of time. Today's aircraft was this Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring the Adient Ascent business class cabin (that's the Qsuite Lite to you and me!).

And boy, it's a beauty!

And here's my seat for the next 5 and a bit hours, 4A.

I must admit, it takes a lot to impress me, but Qatar really have got the Qsuite Lite on point.

I was welcomed with a glass of Qatar's delightful lemon and mint juice.

And a fragranced cool towel from French brand, Diptyque.

There was also a smaller pillow alongside this larger cushion and bedding set.

There were no qualms in the legroom department, either.

After we'd pushed back, I also received a small cup of Arabic coffee and a Qinwan date.

With it being -9 degrees outside, we had to be de-iced before departure.

And away we were!

As soon as the seatbelt sign came off, I wasted no time in getting that Qsuite Lite door shut. This really does make it feel like your very own apartment.

I was also a huge fan of the Diptyque leather amenity kit featuring a blindfold, socks, creams, potions and lotions…

Not to mention a 10ml sample of Diptyque's scent "Philosykos" which smelt divine!

My table was then laid for the first meal service. The drink you can see to the left of the table is a whiskey sour.

The first course was this amuse bouche. A pearl of mozzarella on a tomato and basil oil. Beautiful.

For starter, I opted for the traditional Qatari mezze…

…which was served with warm flatbreads. This was also a knock-out dish.

The main course, Qatari chicken mashkool with green mabouch. This really was a stand-out dish and the chicken just melt like butter.

I also ordered a glass of the Taittinger Prestige Rosé, it was buttery, fruity and sweet. A delicious drink.

Dessert was a salted caramel cheesecake with meringue and orange. It was good but I'd much prefer something more traditional.

This was washed down with a glass of Sauternes, my go-to dessert wine.

I was then served another cold refreshing towel.

And a small chocolate found it's way to me to round up the dinner service. A stand-out experience.

How much did I pay for this flight? Well, I had 30,000 Avios in my Qatar Airways account so used these, topped up the rest with cash and the associated taxes and fees which totalled £388.86. What a bargain!

I've been lucky enough to fly some of the best cabins in the world, but I must agree with the majority, this really is a beautiful cabin.

It was also nice to see the toilets were far cleaner than my last QR experience.

They featured further Diptyque amenities.

Alongside dental and shaving kits, too.

On the bar area at the back of the cabin was a bowl of fresh fruit.

Or, if you fancied something more substantial, there were a variety of snacks available too.

The moving map on the IFE remote is a really nice touch, too.

And Qatar's Oryx One IFE system really comes into play on a screen of this side. I was most impressed!

I then returned to the crew having made my bed. I really cannot fault the service from Purser, Deepika and Cabin Crew member, Lickoshan. They were absolutely wonderful.

Because the flight wasn't full, they made the bed in the opposing suite available for me, so I essentially had the delights of two Qsuite Lites!

I was also impressed at the acoustics of the suite when the sliding door is closed. It's such a peaceful environment.

And yes, I was out like a light (let's blame the food, or the alcohol, or both!).

I woke up to great city views.

And a vanilla bourbon tea (recommended to me by Lickoshan). He said it's great served with a slice of orange and a packet of ginger biscuits. He wasn't wrong - this tea was delightful.

Then it was time for my dinner prior to landing into Doha. I opted for the lemon gnocchi with spinach and burrata. Again, another fabulous dish. I really am impressed with Qatar Airways in business class.

Deepika recommended the Rodney Strong Chardonnay to pair with the gnocchi. Another delectable wine!

And that was pretty much it. I got wonderful views over the city of Doha…

…before touching down and pulling on to stand! Thanks for reading/watching as always. See you next week!
