from saint amour to saint estephe!
As part of my job, I have been travelling to Bordeaux a lot of times in the past year, up to a weekly basis at some point. This was the first time I experienced a "regular" flying experience, where even some crew member might recognise and greet me!
I know this is just a small domestic flight, and it is hard to make it interesting but I'll try my best!

I chose my seat 30 hours before departure, as all HOP flights, you can't choose your seats before this point.

AT LYON - SAINT EXUPERY AIRPORT

I arrived with a taxi as usual, and went through security really fast:
- during covid times there was barely anyone at the airport during a weekday
- I was travelling light as usual, with just my cabin suitcase.

For once before going airside I went to have a look at the spotter corner of LYS, located exactly between the two terminals… Not much to spot today, just a weird thing that was this CRJ700 not parked at the Hop pier…
Once airside, I naturally went to this Air France Hop pier that wasn't as busy as before covid, but I guess with Ben Smith's wish to shrink Hop this will become the usual view.
4 bombardier and one embraer.. That embraer on the left background was my plane..

I arrived at the bit of the terminal dedicated to HOP, and as usual my flight was leaving from the U gates.
onboard the e190
We were called to board on time; with the Skypriority respected, premium passengers were called first. And for once I was one of the only one to use the skyprioirty lane..

The crew was really professional and gave us a warm welcome, followed by the usual announce by the captain thanking us for flying wtih Air France; which is always a nice thought.
The safety card..

The seats are somehow a bit less comfortable than those found onboard the CRJs, but more than KLM city hopper Ejet fleet and the ironing board of domestic subfleet A318/319/320/321 of Air France…

And taxi began about 30 min later, apparently because some catering were missing. Which isn't too bad and allowed me to take this stunning picture. Look how the sun rays go through the CRJ1000 windows!

same but with eyefish.. which one do you prefer?

After take off, the crew started the service that was complimentary as it is the rule on AF, but drastically reduced to a hot or cold drink: tea/coffee or juices. We didn't see them after this point, not up until the rubbish collection.

Since the first lock down, Air France stopped printing its magazine, and so it is digitally that you can discover it; it is available on the Air France play app.

And of course as usual the airline fleet details page

We arrived at the terminal B, where Air France operates
Sometimes it doesn't update straight away neither does it with cities, that trent to disappear..
