Ryanair for £25
Welcome to my first Ryanair flight report. This flight was from London Stansted to Belfast International.
I choose this flight because there were no other flights for this date under £75 per person. This flight was a bargain in my opinion for a non-red-eye during the school holidays and near Easter Sunday.
This flight was very routine and uneventful but I wanted to report on the Ryanair flights order to seat, more on that later.
Stansted airport
There is not much to say about Stansted airport at 09:00, I arrived by coach from Stratford Station, London, the coach takes the same amount of time as the train but is a lot cheaper and slightly more comfortable. The coach costs about £15 return whereas the train comes in closer to £40 return, however there are two companies running the coaches (national express and Flibco, I used National Express) but only one company runs the train (Greater Anglia for Great British Railways under the Stansted express brand, confused yet?) the Stansted airport was very similar to my EasyJet report on the same route so I won’t cover it here.

On to the flight
Today we were flying on a Boeing 737-800 registered G-RUKF, I flew on this aircraft in august 2025 but is has been retrofitted with split winglets since then.

I wanted to review the food because I have heard good and bad things about Ryanair catering and the Ryanair order to seat via the app
The button is easy to see when you open the app
I went for the 12.50 euro meal deal (pricy) and ordered a ham and cheese panini with a sprite and a tube of sour cream and onion Pringles, because I new the plane would start smelling like them anyway:), I am delighted to say they were good
Cabin crew were excellent on this flight especially the flight attendant in the middle of the plane (can’t remember her name sorry) she was very enthusiastic and keen to help out.
