After spending almost a week in Italy, it was time for me to go back to Germany. I took the shuttle bus from Venice Mestre station to the airport and the journey just took about 20 minutes. Once entering the terminal, it gave me a very modern impression. The ceiling is design in the way to utilise the natural light during day time.

Artworks are displayed on the wall.

The check-in counters for my flight was located in the first floor. There was literally no people and I checked my luggage in no time. The day before I also received Email that the flight would be full and recommended to check our hand-luggage.

The ground staff asked me if I needed a paper boarding pass, but I am fine with mine in the apple wallet.

Then we decided to go through the security check as there were quite a lot of traveller in the hall. At the end it took us 20 minutes to finished the process. Passing through the duty free shop we were finally air-sided.

With plenty of time, we sat by the window and I took the chance to do some plane spotting.
Easyjet G-EZUT arriving from Manchester as U22121.

Aegean Airlines A321-200 SX-DVZ departing to Athens as A3671.

Ryanair Boeing 737 Max8, EI-IKO arriving from Manchester as FR2898.

At 15:58pm, I received the update from Lufthansa that the departing gate was allocated at B25. About 15 minutes later I arrived at the gate and there were already some people waiting there.

At 16:28pm, our plane arrived from Munich.

Our plane to Munich, Embraer E195, I-ADJZ was originally delivered to Lufthansa CityLine in October 2009, it served both Lufthansa Regional and Lufthansa until 2022, which was then transferred to Air Dolomiti.

Priority boarding was eventually started at 16:40pm and I was again in group 3 of the boarding sequence.

Taking a few photos before stepping into the plane.

My seat 27A. The seat was arranged during online check-in automatically and I did not pay extra for that.

Back of the economy seat. Safety Card, catering menu and sea sick bag was neatly stored behind the seat.

Refreshing tower was given to us when we embarked the plane.

At 17:13pm, pushback was initiated. Cabin light was dimmed for takeoff.

Taxiing to the runway.

At 17:22pm, we lifted off from runway 04R.

Seconds after takeoff.

We made a 270 degree turn shortly after takeoff and this gave me a great chance to see Venice from the sky.

After connecting to the plane WiFi, I browsed again the inflight entertainment page.

There was also a flight map showing all the flight information.

8 minutes after takeoff, I received water from the crew.

5 minutes later cookie was also served.

Soon we were flying over the snow mountains region in Austria. The view was stunning and it would be even better if I sat on the other side without the direct sunlight.

By the time when we passed through Innsbruck, the cabin crew came and collected the trash.

Walchensee and Kochelsee.

Starnberger See

Eventually we were informed about landing shortly and we would arrive at gate K18.

Final approach and we entered the airport from the east.

At 18:02pm, we landed on runway 26L. Total flight time was 40 minutes.

Reaching the final parking position. A few seconds later, another Air Dolomiti arrived next to us. I-ADJR arrived from Bologna as EN8243. The plane has a slight paint livery.

We disembarked the plane from the front door.
