Review of El-Buraq Air Transport flight from Tripoli to Tunis in Economy

Hello everyone 👋🏼.
On today's flight I'm going to be flying to Tunis on Buraq Air's A320 From Tripoli Mitiga Airport to Tunis Carthage Airport on a short business trip.

After checking the Airport flight information screens I proceeded to check-in counter number 5 to get my boarding pass, was quite quick as I didnt have a checked in bag.

Got my Boarding pass in a couple of minutes!
Now let's head for departures.

After scanning my boarding pass, the gate opens to get in line for immigration, it took around 2 mins, as traffic slows down in the evenings.

Now we in departures!
Went to the end of the terminal beside gate 5 to wait for my flight as that area is the quietest.

Now it's time for boarding at Gate 4 with a slight delay.

All gates are remote gates in Mitiga Airport.

We flew on 5A-BAC, which is an all economy cabin.

The aircraft used to belong to Cebu Pacific Air in the Philippines.

Legroom is very tight as Cebu Pacific is a low cost airline, and Buraq didn't adjust the legroom after acquiring the aircraft.

A very tasty Shawarma as a free meal for this very short 50 mins flight!

Our trip comes to an end here as I arrive to my hotel, Hotel Acrople in the Berges Du Lac, just south of the airport on the lake.

Conclusion

It was a very smooth flight with no major complaints or disagreements. The cabin of the aircraft was very clean, the crew was friendly. The flying time was very short, 50 minutes. The meal was more than enough for this kind of a short flight. Usually this kind of meal is not being offered anymore on short flights, so I appreciate Buraq Air on that. A nice add-on they could do is if they could include maybe an in-flight Wi-Fi that at least the customers can connect to and watch movies or listen to music or follow the flight details. Because maybe this is a short 50-minute flight that people wouldn't get easily bored in, but some people are using it as a transit flight, coming home to Libya from very far places around the world, so this is their last flight, so they would want to enjoy it. Also, in the case of Buraq Air flying to other destinations that are over an hour away, it would really be boring without some kind of entertainment on their aircrafts. Thank you.

Hi there , thanks for sharing this first review with us! Always cool to discover a new airline I hadn’t seen before. While the cabin is very basic, being an ex-Cebu aircraft, I’m very impressed with a free meal on a flight that’s less than an hour long! Agree that some streaming IFE or WiFi would be nice to have for longer flights.

last time in TUN i saw libyan wings airplane , very tempting but too bad i coudldnt try
