Review of China Southern flight from Guangzhou to Singapore in Economy

Hello and welcome to another trip report after spending a week in guangzhou and shenzhen its time to head home on the a321 neo  on the day of departure i head to the airport via guangzhou metro line 3 from the city and then proceedes upstairs to the departure hall to checkin for china southern flight home china southern uses row P of baiyun airport terminal 2 which is the exact same terminal as i flown singapore airlines b787-10 home last year and checkin took about 20 minutes before proceeding into the airside the security took about 15 minutes to pass thru then immigration out of china which took about 20 minutes and by the time i cleared both security and immigration i proceeded to gate G148 along the way saw alot of china southern b787-9 and a350 heading to europe and australia that evening.

Here my ride home for the evening a 8 year old a321 Neo with the registration B 8368 (Bravo 8368) as soon i got to the gate the queue is formed to board the a321 neo i sat at row 39A which is the left side of the a321Neo and the seats were exactly the same as the inbound but this time the aircraft equip with dropdown TV unlike the other A321Neo.

we were parked next to the qatar airways b777 300 ER after boarding was completed the safety video was done on the dropdown screen and taxi to the runway for takeoff. 

we took off 9 mins later and drink service started 30 minutes later and i go for the redbean juice which was quite good  and then the dropdown screen played some movies although i didnt watch any movies as i was resting throughout the flight.

shortly after the drink service dinner was served although there chicken with rice or beef with rice and i tried the chicken with rice which is good as well as the red bean biscuit for desserts ,potato salad and sausage for apettiser as well as mandrian orange as fruit even the usual bread roll and butter .The meal tray also has wooden cutleries which is much environmental friendly as the metal cutleries overall the meal service is good on a 3 hour flight even i enjoy the redbean juice as well.

shortly after the meal service i took some rest and 1 hour later were started our decent into changi airport runway 2L as well as a view of east coast park and tanah merah area.

we touch down at 11.11PM which is 19 mins early and taxi towards gate d42 of terminal 1 which is the short walk to arrival immigration and  bid goodbye to the friendly cabin crew as well as B 8368. The immigration took about 1 minute at the passportless lanes and i did  manage to complete the Singapore arrival card (SGAC) with health declaration few days before my trip home which can be done on the ica website or the my ica app and then collected my suitcase at the baggage claim before heading into jewel pickup point for my grab ride home although this was the good a321Neo ride on china southern and i definetely would ride china southern again in the near future see you next time on pheeplanes bye.
