Review of China Southern flight from Singapore to Guangzhou in Economy

Hi and welcome another trip report with pheeplanes this time will be trying out china southern airlines down to guangzhou and shenzhen for a week vacation .China southern is one of the 3 airlines operates daily to guangzhou with 4 daily trips with a321 and a320 series aircraft and its my first time trying out one of the 3 major airlines in china which is airchina,china eastern and china southern.

On the day of departure we line up at row 10 of terminal 1 and checkin took about 20 minutes before proceeding to gate C12 for boarding where china southern uses the bus gate when the planes is parked at the remote stand. the immigration took about 1 minute with facial recognition passportless clearance and cleared security before entering the holding area of gate C12 and then boarded the bus to the aircraft which took about 10 minutes away from the terminal building. here my ride to guangzhou china a six year old five month old airbus A321Neo with the registration B309J (bravo 309 juliet)  which was delivered to china southern  in october 2019 .

We walk down 4 business class seats all the way to the mid section of the a321neo Upon reaching my seat 41 K  the seat comes with the inflight magzine and safety cards unfortunatly the type of A321Neo doesnt equip with inflight entertainment system especially dropdown screen. once boarding and cabin door has closed the safety demostration was done manually   before taxing  to the runway past terminal 2 and terminal 4 after pushing back from the remote stand

we took off from changi 15 minutes later  and shortly after takeoff drinks service  were served  and i go for the coffee to enjoy 

shortly after drinks service breakfast was served there two main option which is pork with rice or chicken with rice.i go for the pork with rice which was taste alright   as well as the appetizer  ham with barley  even the usual bread roll and butter.

 Haagen-dazs vanilla ice cream for dessertwere served before meal trays were collected and spend rest of the flight resting before touching down at guangzhou baiyun airport.

Were now flying over Hongkong international airport and shenzhen before approaching to guangzhou baiyun airport and landed 13 minutes ahead of schedule  and 9V SCP 100th b787-10 also arrived earlier than our a321Neo 

We parked right next to the china southern B737 max 8 and disembark the aircraft bidding goodbye to the friendly cabin crew and B 309J  before  heading to the immigration 

The immigration took about 20 minutes which is slightly quicker than last year trip to guangzhou on singapore airlines however i did  manage to complete the paper arrival card early instead of filing up the arrival card before clearing immigration.After immigration i collect my bagage before proceeding to the guangzhou metro line 3 station to ride the metro into guangzhou city although it was a good flight on china southern and i definetely fly china southern again in the near future see you next time on pheeplanes bye.
