Arrived at terminal 1 two and half hours early and there were hardly any passengers at the check-in. The counter appears to be self-serve capable but we were helped by a friendly staff sitting behind it. From check-in to passing immigration took about 10 min.

We took the skytrain to T2 hoping to eat at the TGM, only to find they don’t open until 6 am (in retrospect we should have just waited). As our boarding gate is close to T3 to T1 skytrain station we decided to try the lounges in T3, taking the skytrain that goes through the newly opened Jewel. Sadly the waterfall was off during early mornings.
DNATA Lounge SINGAPORE CHANGI (T3)
The DNATA lounge in T3 is open to skyteam premium passengers as well as priority pass holders. It was rather empty when we arrived at 6am in the morning. The food area is directly after the entrance with dining tables on the right. Past the food area is an open space with couches. There is also a small reading area on the way to the washrooms. The showers were not available during my visit. Compared to all the lounges in SIN, the DNATA lounge in T3 is one of the smallest.

The food selection was rather comprehensive.

SATS Premier LOUNGE singapore changi (T3)
Knowing that the SATS lounge in T3 is more spacious, we headed there after food. Turns out they won some award from priority pass back in 2018. Not surprised as it was a bright and comfy place with good food selections.

I have reviewed this lounge back in 2017 and lounge layout haven't changed. I took a few pictures of the breakfast spread instead. I think they used to have tiger beer on tab. Now it just can with chilled mug.

ONBOARD experience
The experience largely resembled inbound flight CZ351. The plane was exactly the same. We sat further back so I took picture of the legroom.

For drinks they had juices, coffee, tea, milk, beer, and wine. The flight attendant walked around with wine after meal. Maybe they had to finish up an already open bottle?
There were two options for breakfast. They ran out of the western option (eggs?) quite early so we were left with beef and rice.

GUangzhou Baiyun international transfer
Arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. We also docked at a proper gate so I had time to take pictures. The walk to the custom checkpoint took a good 5 min. Upon on reaching customs, we first passed through an automated gantry that checked body temperature in case you have fever. I think they are very careful now due to SARS related outbreaks.
Following the signs for international transfer, we reached an area just right of customs that I think are staffed by China Southern employees but looks very much like part of customs. We were one of the few in line but the line soon grew while we were waiting. We had our documents checked to make sure it met the requirements of the onward destination. I'm not sure why it's needed as it was checked previous by staff in Singapore.
Next, we again went through security before arriving on the departure floor. Where we had about 1 hour for the lounge.
