Hi,
Passport and security control took very long at SCL and I just visited the SkyTeam Lounge for a small break.

The Lounge is modern and has a nice layout but shows already signs of usage and age.

Having a small break.

Some views on the way to my gate including a KLM 777 heading to Amsterdam via Buenos Aires.

It was very foggy this morning and boarding started ca. 30 minutes delayed.

Taking my comfortable window seat.

The atmosphere was very good with some nice boarding music playing.

Welcome glass of champagne.

Followed by nice amenity kits.

Plus the menu for the flight. Meal orders were taken soon after still on the ground.

We left the gate and started a long taxi. Finally climbing through the fog to sunny skies. Flight time was announced as ca. 12 hours 30 minutes.

The views over the Andes climbing to cruising altitude were amazing.

Some more nice scenery until the aperitif service started.

Due to some turbulence service started about 50 minutes into the flight with hot towels.

Next a nice amuse bouche service followed.

Then a very tasty starter was served. Plenty of drink refills were proactively offered by the very charming and always smiling crew.

My main meal of beef which was ok.

Finishing with cheese and dessert service.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and after watching a movie I had a good sleep of several hours.
Some snacks mid flight from the small buffet area.

Above the Biscaya ca. 1 hour 30 minutes out of Paris a nice breakfast was served.

Finishing with a hot towel.

Sunrise just started during descend.

Landing at CDG on a nice sunny morning.

Parking at M gates pier of Terminal 2 E.

A view after deboarding my plane:
