Hi,
Transfer at Zurich was very relaxed and I really enjoyed the perfect Senator Lounge at Dock E. It is huge, was very calm this evening and provided a perfect atmosphere and good choices of drinks and food. To me one of the best lounges I have been so far.
A lot of nice seating.
The buffets.
It even has a private outside terrace with great apron views.
Boarding was on time and I took my seat. The cabin looks nice but the layout is outdated and much more cramped than many competitor cabins those days.

Also a pyjama was offered which is nice.
Welcome drinks and some nuts were offered by the friendly crew.
Menus were distributed including an order sheet for the breakfast which is a very good idea.
We departed for our ca. 12 hours flight to Asia.
Hot towels were distributed first.
Then the drinks trolley appeared - due to this late evening departure no separate aperitif with nuts.
Directly after the starter tray was offered. All was tasty.
Next a good cold tomato gazpacho was offered.
Followed by my pre-ordered main course of veal which was under my expectations and not very tasty.
However the dessert was really good - followed by some chocolates.
I managed to get some mediocre sleep on the rather narrow seat.
The next day breakfast was served as ordered. It was tasty.
We landed at Singapore on time.

It's always a treat to see when other people fly on the same planes I did! (Especially when they take a lot more pictures than I have 😅)
As for the Swiss Senses cabin, I have to say I disagree hard. Replacing a perfectly fine cabin product that was custom-made for SWISS's particular specifications with a carbon-copy of Lufthansa's Allegris cabin (with all its notorious certification problems) will not be an improvement at all.
