Hello everyone. Before we get start, let me first wish you a happy new year 2026. May all your wishes and dreams come true. But also to remain healthy especially.

With this being said, time to finish my Korean saga, a trip that has been done three years ago. Incredible to think that time flies…

WELCOME TO SEOUL INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Our guide  and our chauffeur will drop us off in front of terminal 2, dedicated to Korean Air and most of its Skyteam partners.

While the group is going to check-in in Area C ; Economy class passengers on most of KE flights (except China which has Area D dedicated) …

… me and my two companions who traveled in Prestige Class on the previous flight  shall proceed to check-in Area A ; this one on the other hand, is dedicated to passengers travelling in First Class or in Prestige (Business Class), as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus members.

Check-in was very professionnal. I'll get my Boarding Pass, as well as a voucher granting  an access to the lounge. However, this voucher allows me only one entrance, either to KAL Lounge Prestige West Side, or KAL Lounge Prestige East Side.

I also teasted the airport's Wi-Fi. Though I manage to get to the website, I notice the first lounge did not have a review compared to the second back then. Ergo, and despite the distance between the lounge and the boarding gate, better testing something new.

After everyone dropped-off their baggage and said our goodbyes with our guide, we're heading to the security controls, which will take 40 minutes to pass…

… and borders controls via e-gate. Which means no stamp on my passport. (Grrr…)

THE KOREAN AIR LOUNGE PRESTIGE WEST SIDE

The lounge's advantage is its loaction near the security controls.

Here we are.

The lounge seems desert right now but it will soon be crowded.

At the end of the lounge, you can find a peaceful place. Perfect for working or relaxing in peace while waiting your flight.

TO THE BOARDING GATE

During the trip, one of my travel companions was a great fan of K-Pop, especially a BTS group one, saw all these figurines… ;b

Some spotting. No doubt we're in Korean Air's hub. Only a French guest here at terminal 2…

As I arrived, boarding has already begun.

THE FLIGHT ALONGSIDE OUR EMPRESS

and obviously the door moment. Oops, The crew is waiting for me.

Greetings from the crew. If the entire group is travelling in Economy class, those who accompanied me at the check-in are seated at seats 10D and 10E in the middle of the main deck…

… while my seat for the next 14 hours is located on the upper deck.

Seat 20H to be more precise.

This seat has everything we need for a comfortable flight, with a pillow, a cover, slippers, a bottle of water and an amenity kit.

The legroom. Although this configuration allows all Business seats a full-access, aisle seats give less intimacy compared to windows seats.

As a welcome drink, you can choose between water, a fruit juice or champagne alongside some snacks.

Or not… Captain inform us about a 15 minute delay for push-back due to traffic congestion in Beijing.

AF is late as it is meant to take-off 25 minutes before us.

Speaking of K-Pop, we're passing by HL-7204, a Boeing 777-300ER wearing the 2030 Universal Exposition, which will take place in Busan en 2030 and K-pop group Black Pink.

… and Airbus A380s from Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.

Take-off at 12h46, local time, before my neighbor closes the window curtain til our arrival.

By the time to start a movie, it already gives kick-off for the lunch.

The lunch begins with a caviar toast.

Starter : Shrimp salad with a lentil soup. Refreshing.

With my latest Bibimbap experience on the flight from Paris to Seoul, which resulted in a disappointement, The main course was the western one : "Beef Tenderloin with rosemary sauce"

Delicious !

The cheeses. The cabin crew would try to pick up the tomato bread I chose earlier, but I kept it on purpose for this. (Yeah it's a real Frenchie writing these lines)

And to finish this meal, this little blueberry cheesecake.

With this great meal, time for a little stroll into the aircraft, Also an occasion to have a little talk with all travel companions… And to notice that all seats are occupied.

Bathroom will be regularly clean by the crew.

So far so good, thanks to the crew. But if flight is safe, it's also thanks to the ground staff, that prepared the aircraft and ensuring the machine and its occupants's safety all the way to their destination…

HAGRID !! WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?!

Galley's snacks aside, the cabin crew will make a pass to offer snacks to passengers with either cookies or pizza…

The flight will altern between naps and movies, sometimes with turbulences. It's above Bucarest, Romania's capital city, that lights into the cabin are lit again.

Dinner is served. At first, I chose the "Korean spicy beef bulgogi with glass noodles", but this dish went out of stock. I had to take the "Roasted chicken thigh with bordelaise sauce" instead.

The flight has come to an end.

TOUCHING THE QUEEN IS A CRIME OF LESE-MAJESTY

After a long taxing, we finally arrive at our gate. As soon as the sign went off, all passegners stand, not knowing that the airbridge took 15 minutes to dock our aircraft.

Time to take a picture from the First Class cabin.

Our journey ended the same place it started 2 weeks days ago.

We need to take a train before reaching the borders controls, which were empty, so rather surprised knowing it's usally crowded.

Controls went fast enough. By the time I arrive to the baggage belt, the first baggage were already there, including mine.
