Hi,
This Discover flight took off from the C gates area of Terminal 1 which is a really boring pier of Frankfurt. There are almost no shops or restaurants. Still at least some nice views of the apron.

In the C gates area there only is one lounge: the Lufthansa Bistro Lounge. It has a very nice and airy atmosphere with great apron views.

The buffets also offer a good selection and are well presented.

Some views on another waiting Discover Airbus while having breakfast.

Unfortunately my flight was delayed for 2 hours and finally boarding started via a bus to a remote position.

The Premium Economy cabin looks nice and in good shape.

Menus, earphones, a small pillow and a blanket were waiting at the seat.

A look at the menu:

Also there was an amenity lit with basic content.

The seat pitch was good and in general this older LH Group Premium Economy seat still is one of my favourite ones as it is comfortable and has an airy atmosphere.

The friendly cabin crew offered a welcome drink which is a nice gesture: water or some very tasted flavored juice.

We finally started to taxi and took off for this 11 hour 30 minute flight to Mexico.
About 25 minutes into the flight the service started with a (cheap) hot towel and a first drinks round (unfortunately without any nuts or crackers). At the same time I was asked for my main course choice later on. I really liked that all drinks throughout the whole flight were served in proper glasses (this is much better than mother Lufthansa in Premium Economy which uses plastic cups most of the flight).

Soon the tasty lunch was served with more drinks and warm bread.

After the trays had been collected, a very tasty warm signature Discover cookie and coffee/tea service ended the main meal.

We crossed the Atlantic Ocean and mid flight some tasty crackers were offered.

2 hours before landing another hot towel was offered followed by another very tasty warm evening meal.

A nice seasonal farewell chocolate was distributed during descend.

We landed in Cancun just before sunset.
Thanks for reading,
