Hi,
Fast Track security was quick in Terminal 1. However once airside I realized that the Library Lounge at T1 was closed for renovation. Lufthansa premium guests unfortunately have no good replacement offer - only a very hard to find premium waiting area at the far end of the building on lower floor of Ryanair departure area in a very hidden corner:

Not surprisingly I was the only guest there - the lounge is not really a lounge and does offer NOTHING to eat or drink, not even water. Still it was quiet and nice to sit in.

On the way to the gate some views of the evening apron:

Boarding started slightly delayed but with priorities respected very nicely.
A friendly junior crew welcomed me onboard this very new looking A320neo. The cabin was very nice and also had some nice pillows in Business Class which rarely is the case at Lufthansa.

Once boarding was completed, a small bottle of water was offered as welcome drink.

Some views outside:

Taxi started soon and we climbed out of Dublin for a 2 hour flight across Europe.

Some great sunset views and a nice calm atmosphere on board.

Soon the friendly purser distributed a paper table cloth - something that is not the case with Lufthansa normally and maybe part of the Lufthansa City service protocol - a nice touch for sure.

Next a menu and refreshing towel was offered.

Soon a first drink service started unrushed and I was also asked for my main meal choice (out of the 2 cold dishes offered in the menu). I decided for the roast beef.

After a while this nice meal tray was served with two warm bread rolls. I must admit this cold meal really tasted surprisingly well.

Drink refills were offered and the service was nice.
I finished with a cup of coffee.

During descend some nice chocolates were distributed.

Thanks for reading,
