Hi,
After a quick visit to the well known Lufthansa Senator Lounge at G gates I headed to the boarding - no pictures from the Lounge this time.
I took my window seat in the second row of the aircraft. Business Class only consisted of 3 rows today.
On the ground the friendly crew distributed small bottles of water.
We left the gate with a slight delay.
Taking off during sunset for the ca. 3 hour flight to Portugal.
We passed some heavy turbulence and about 30 minutes after take off curtains to Economy were closed and service started with the distribution of nice small paper menus. 3 warm main courses were on offer to today.
Next a hot towel was distributed.
Followed by the aperitif service with some nuts where I ordered the always very tasty Lufthansa signature drink Avionic.
Now it was time for dinner and I ordered the fish as main course. All was ok and nothing to complain. Warm breads from a basket were offered as well.
Plus several rounds of proactive drink refills - the two ladies in Business Class were always friendly and chatty this evening.
Finishing the meal with some coffee and a Baileys.
At the end of the service some fine chocolates were offered from a box.
We crossed the rest of Europe during dark skies outside and landed at Lisbon some minutes past schedule.
