INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone and welcome back to this Korean trip.
After a few days spent on Jeju Island, which were enjoyable, it is time to head back to Seoul, as the trip is close to reach its end.
As I mentioned on all previous flights (and in case you forgot, you can go back via the links down below), every Korean flights will be full of surprises. And so does this one.

ON THE WAY BACK TO SEOUL
It's under a radiant sunshine we're heading back to the airport. From the hotel, we'll be there in ten minutes.

CJU landside. Almost all Korean carriers are present ; two low-costs airlines absent : Hi Air (4H) and Fly Gangwon (4V).

Korean Air's desks were directly at the terminal's entrance.

Some group members will attempt to get themselvs checked-in on "kiosks" while others, more reluctant to do the "self check-in" will try to go the desk by the force. Which, unfortunately, will be necessary…

The Dangerous Goods chart.
Check-in process will be efficient. Then again, like we experimented at KWJ airport, the check-in agent will keep my travel documents until my baggage has been scanned and cleared to travel by security agents.

Unlike all previous flights, this one will not be in economy class, but in business class, because when I subscirbed for this circuit with the Tour-Operator, I required to upgrade the flight from Seoul to Paris in Business class. Though the upgrade was possible, not without a certain extra, this upgrade also impacted the Jeju Island - Seoul flight.
At first, not interested by this upgrade due to the fact this flight was very short, it then gave an excellent opportunity to report CJU's Korean Air Lounge, still unknown on the website's data base.
Unfortunately, a poor signage didn't help me to find it. One thing for sure, it is not located in the domestic airside area.
Nevertheless, conditions to enter the lounge are the same as most airlines's lounges, which are :
* traveling in Prestige Class (Korean Air Business Class) or in First Class,
* being a SKYPASS MEMBER with level Million Miler Club or Morning Calm Premium Club
* being a Skyteam Elite Plus member.
Travel documents are ready. Also, the check-in agent wrote all passport's names on the boarding pass.

JEJU AIRSIDE
Security controls passed, it's spotting time. With two widebodies, including our aircraft.

A few pictures of the domestic terminal airside.

Boarding time…
Today's ride is HL-7540

Its ID card. One of the oldest aircraft I've ever flown.

Boarding started at gate 6 in quite a confusing context ; as we are around 270 passengers to Seoul, only ONE jetbridge is connected as boarding starts 15 minutes before scheduled time of departure.
People with Reduced Mobility (PRM) boarded before SkyPriority passengers.

Our neighbor, with a special livery…

Earphones were at disposal to the aircraft's door.

Speaking of door, door and fuselage moments.

Here's our seat, 8H. Very "old school" with not 1, nor 2 but 3 windows.

For those who used to travel 20 years ago, no need to remind the "full-flat" experience…

The legroom.

As boarding is still ongoing, two of my travel companions also travel in Prestige Class, into the previous row before me.

We're pushing back with a 10 minute delay. The safety video is presented by K-pop group SuperM, airline's partner back then but the screen is clearly outdated, as I can barely see anything during the entire flight.

Goodbye Jeju Island.

As soon as the seatbelt signal is off, cabin crew hurry up to do the inflight service, which is a drink among several choices to every passengers. The same happened in Economy class.

KEON-BAE (건배 ) !!!

A little walk into the cabin and to witness the aircraft cabin is definitely full.

Then to the toilets.

ARRIVAL AT SEOUL GIMPO (GMP) :
Countless buildings mean we're now approaching Seoul Gimpo airport (GMP).

We're on final approach as we're flying near Korean Air's hangars…

…and endgame for this airplane.

we're parking next to a 737 Jin AIr, accompanied by many other Korean carriers.

Everyone up !

Last view of our seat…

Thank you HL-7540 for this flight.

First baggage will arrive to the baggage belt around noon, around 10 minutes after our aircraft was on-block.
Good point for GMP : A camera is available to passengers as to see if their baggage is coming on the delivery belt.

We're back landside 10 minutes later, where our chauffeur will pick us up shortly after.

And thus, this short wide-body trip has come to an end. I hope you appreciated it. If that's the case, please leave a like and to comment. As for my part, I'll be back shortly for this Korean trip's final review.

Great in depth review! I like the little fact file on the aircraft! 😀
Thank you for your comment. Really appreciated it.
The aircraft's ID is a bit like my signature. You can find it on most of my previous flight reviews if you haven't read them yet. Hope you like them as well.
Have safe flights.
