Hi,
Security was a breeze through Fast Track.
After some walking around I headed to the OP Lounge by Aspire which Lufthansa premium passengers can use at Helsinki.
The Lounge is really a great lounge with many different nice seating areas and perfect apron views.
There is a lot of natural light in the whole lounge.
The buffets provided several choices and were very nice presented.
My selection:
On the way to my boarding gate I passed a Finnair Airbus in the evening sun before reaching my Lufthansa one.
Boarding had almost finished and a very friendly crew welcomed me.
I took my window seat.
Soon pushing back and departing into the beautiful sunset for a trip of 2 hours.
Climbing out with excellent views on the shore.
Soon the very friendly cabin crew distributed nuts and a printed menu.
Then I was asked for aperitif choice and I decided for the typical very tasty Avionic.
The sunset atmosphere was fantastic and quiet in the cabin.
Next main dish orders were taken and I decided for the beef. The meal was then served and warm bread was offered from a basket. Along with that more drink choices.
Refills were frequently offered by the crew and the meal tasted very good.
Ending my meal with a cup of coffee and Baileys.
Now some nice chocolates were distributed as well from a nice Lufthansa box.
Landing at Munich on time.
