Introduction
Hello amigos!
This is a new installment of my trip to Greece series. Now covering a domestic leg between Athens and Corfu.

To Athens' Eleftherios Venizelos Intl.
We were staying in downtown Athens, which is a fair long way from ATH. We chose to ride the metro. It takes some time, and if you are unlucky enough to be in the middle of rush hour, it will be crowded and uncomfortable. But is the cheapest (?) way there. Hit or miss.
I didn't get why the bridge from the station to the terminal drops you to the street, so then you are at the mercy of cars and weather. Cutting off corners to keep construction costs down?
Anyways ,we were in…the terminal was crowded, but it wasn't too bad as other instances.
Security didn't take long and we were at the airside in no time. The ubiquitous "mall" make the place feel cramped.
We made use of the Skyserv lounge…which is probably one of the worst lounges I've been to. Food offering was lame (as in most PP-available lounges) but the seats are what made it so awful. Just a horrible place to spend a hangover.
Boarding
We were to use one of the bus gates. There wasn't much of tarmac action at the moment, so not much to see.
We boarded our bus and took us a fair time to reach the stand where our A320Neo was waiting for us.

On a sunny day like this one, it is always nice to board like this. All the views, noise and fumes an AVGeek can enjoy.
I was quite surprised by how modern and airy A3's cabin was.
Compared to my usual airlines IB (that is horrible) and AZ (that hadn't gotten its act together by then), it was a nice change.

With probably all seats taken, our plane took some while to get full. Once that was done, we were enroute to RWY 03R. Athens is an Airbus Land.
A zombie AZ lurking around….I like ITA, but I do miss Alitalia.

We passed by an A3 sibling with the former livery. I think I like the new one better
Gulf air is such an odd airline to see where I usually hang around. And to think it was the "predecessor" to the ME3.
And we were off!!
I was so hungover I basically slept the whole hour. I have a faint memory that there was a service of sorts…but I can't be sure. These are some pics I took while inflight

I completely agree with you here, A3 has some of the sleekest cabins in Europe in my eyes, and miles ahead of LH/IB etc. Nice picture of the cabin!
This made me laugh out loud so hard, and I am still laughing typing this because I was about to get to writing a review of A3, and the exact same thing happened to me 😅😂😂😂 so I was looking to see if they did offer service (because I don't really remember like you). Sitting in a lounge as well, it's the worst when you are that hungover... 😂
