Continuing to Port Gentil after spending the night in Libreville. I can walk to the terminal from the hotel. Afrijet has its own little terminal. There is no connection with the international terminal. Connecting passengers must walk between the terminals.

There are three stations at check-in. All stations are manned and the agents are friendly. However the area feels cramped.
There is no wait at security. It took me 10 minutes to check my luggage and go airside. The waiting area is a bit bigger than the check-in area. It lacks electrical sockets. There are free tea, coffee and water in the area. Also the wifi works fine.
Boarding starts on time. Passengers have to walk to the aircraft. Passengers board the aircraft through the rear left door. I like the aricraft livery.
All seats are the identical.
Legroom is tight but the flight is short

There is also this United African AIrlines Embraer. The CRJ-900 belongs to the South African company CemAir but it operates flights on behalf of Afrijet.

There is a service on this morning flight, hot or cold drinks and a pain au chocolat or a croissant. Quite good actually.
There is also an app with magazines.

Airport agents do not appreciate people taking pictures. There will be an ID plus visa/residency checks before entering the terminal. In the small terminal we will have to wait at least 15 minutes to get our bags and unpleasant customs officers will inspect every bag creating even more delay. Not normal at all for a domestic flight.

Both are not really organized for tourists but Libreville has a few things to see and there are a few travel agencies that can organize something. Port Gentil is an oil city but you can drive a few hours on non paved road to get to some natural reserves that have wonderful animals. If you like fishing Gabon has some places you can go.
Thanks for this exotic report! The Afrijet Livery looks great on this ATR 72-600! Also the interior is very nice and modern, though it does indeed look like the seat pitch is tight. I'm impressed by the nice snack on a 35 minute flight! Here in the US there wouldn't even be a drink on a flight this short.

Yes, Afrijet has received a few new ATR-72-600, all are between two and four years old now. Their livery is really nice.
A few routes (international) have a business class.
Sadly it's true in Gabon...
