It will be a first for me to rotate by plane in less than two days, in fact I went to the exhibition of trades and aeronautical training that was at the Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget from February 3 to 5.

Not many people in the terminal this morning considering the time (5:30).

Here is the bird that will transport us today, it is LX-LQB, a Dash Q400 NextGen delivered new to Luxair in December 2015.

The plane will be almost full today, there were only a few seats left in the back of the plane.

The sun is starting to rise.

The noise is infernal with the turboprops, so I leave at the back of the cabin after agreement of Chief Flight Attendant, to take several pictures of the sunrise.

A small snack is distributed to us.

Very simple catering, a bottle of water and a small bag of hard cookies.


10 minutes after the start of the service the Chief Flight Attendant return with a bag to throw away our trash.

The sunlight enters the cabin.

DESCENT.
Only 20 minutes after the takeoff we already attack our descent.


LANDING.
Gear Down.

Landing on CDG runway 27R at 8:20 am.

Long roll, very long +15 min !

Hi there! What a nice flight, in such a small, comfy cabin! Those seats look something midway between the thick, soft seats of years gone by, and the modern ironing boards. Well, the noise sort of spoils the fun. I'll take my earplugs if I ever have the chance to fly on one of these!
I love flying when it turns out to be such a peaceful experience like this, with no hassle, no crowds, just like a quiet stroll around the airport. Too bad it has to be at this ungodly time of day!
I love your bag!! Are those labels part of the design, or did you take the time to cover it in all those stickers??? It screams "I like to travel!!"
The onboard service looks barely enough to save anyone who left home without breakfast and didn't have anything at the airport! The little, branded bag is a nice detail, anyway!
I see you took photos from both sides of the plane. Hm! here's a zealous reporter!

Yes exactly the seat was very comfortable and soft !
I strongly advise you to take some if you want to be quiet during your flight !

Hi and thank you for this report. Q400 of Luxair are not so far from CRJs of Hop ! Seats are the same model, windows are as large as in the CRJ and the nose of the aircraft is quite sharp. It is a really short flight indeed. I think that reaching Palma de Majorque in this aircraft may be a bit painfull for legs as well as for ears. The weather was really bad during the whole journey. So bad for you ! See you soon !

Yes the two planes are very close, by their cabin configuration (2-2) and the location of the toilets and the galleys.
I just checked the flight from Luxembourg to Palma de Mallorca on Flightradar, the flight is operate with an Embraer 190 or a B737-700/800 ! Because for a 1h40 flight it may be difficult with noise to relax on board of a Q400 !!
