Hello and welcome on board this Air France from Edinburgh to Paris CDG on the A320. This was the first leg of a short weekend trip to Tunisia.
Our aircraft arrived slightly behind schedule in Edinburgh however boarding was completed on time.
Today I would be flying on F-HEPD which was delivered new to Air France in 2010.
It appears AF / KL often prefer to board via stairs at Edinburgh, perhaps short on jet bridges. Can't complain about the views though!

Looking quite clean and shiny for AF.
We have wifi too!

Boarding was completed quickly and we departed a few minutes behind schedule. Flight deck crew announced a flight time of 1hr and 30mins with smooth skies forecast and a standard "fair" weather in Paris.
Our engines came to life and Airfrans 46MJ popped up on FR as we made our way to RW24.

Without delay, we had a powerful rolling takeoff from RW24 to climb into the typical, gloomy Scottish skies.

Into the mist layers then clear skies as we set course for Paris.

Cabin crew onboard today were really friendly which I find quite often on AF these days. One female crew member had a particularly strong yorkshire accent; she later told me she lives in Paris and has for many years. First I have seen this on AF.
A small sandwich was served (chicken or cheese) with a good selection of drinks.
I do like the cabin interior / colour choice on Air France however those black covers can get really dirty and grubby looking.

View from 3F.

I was surprised to see the bathroom at the front of the cabin had no running water. Wipes were available instead.

The lovely Yorkshire / French cabin crew gave me another white wine on my way back from the bathroom.

With the onboard wifi, Air France offers free messaging and moving map etc. These don't stream entertainment however, just some games.
Cruising altitude 37,000ft today.

Soon we were over the English Channel and it was time to descend for Paris.

Approach and landing.

Arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and enjoyed some views of all the French tails at CDG.

Hello again!
I go soooo green with envy when I read words like those. You have so many places to choose from for a weekend getaway, all of them so close together! Where I live, all there is 1000km around is my own country, water, water, Argentina, water, water, water. ?
Oh my! Are you calling AF's standards of cleanliness into question?? ?
Hm. I think I beginning to see your point.
What the...!! ???
Sounds like a strategy to make passengers forget about the waterless bathroom. ?
Oh my. This was an unexpectedly "unclean" flight. I'll remember to take some sanitizing towels when I fly AF ?
Thanks for sharing!
