Welcome back to another short travel series. This report though short, shows my connection to ORD via LGA. I've been fond of the C-Series for some time and this was a great opportunity to fly on it for the first time. Enjoy the great views on this short trip.
Aircraft: Airbus A220-300

Leg room was more that adequate.

Another feature that DL provides is the aircraft specifications. Not often you'll find this on an IFE.

After pushback and start up, it was beyond evident of the quietness of this aircraft. Noise in the cabin was at a minimum.

DL CRJ900.

Momentarily, we lined up and were off.

Queens NY and Brooklyn right on take off.

NYC and all of Manhattan could be seen clear as day as we made our way to Chicago.

Jersey City and Newark.

Crusing over Upstate NY.

Another notable feature of the A220 is the window in the bathroom. The only other airline I've experienced this one was on Qatar's 787.

Our flight was quite empty so I freely moved around the cabin to grab some great pics.

Though clear from above, skies below these ceilings definitely over grey and overcast. Here we were flying over Lake Erie.

Clouds covered 90% of our route, right into descent.

Crossing the eastern coast of Lake Michigan as we approached ORD.

Skies cleared over Lake Michigan.

Downtown Chicago as seen on final approach.

Finals for 27R.

RWY 9C has been under construction for a while and had since remained closed.

DL's sister A220 could be seen, loading up for another LGA hop.
