Welcome to my latest trip report, detailing a recent journey I took from Melbourne to Sydney flying Jetstar Airways!
As I had already checked-in online, all I needed to do upon arrival at MEL was to go through security at Terminal 4.

The Jetstar livery is very attractive when up-close!

I was one of the first to board the very long A321, my favourite aircraft!

United 787-9 taxiing for takeoff to LAX

After the very powerful takeoff (the IAE-powered A321 can really be a rocket sometimes!), we quickly reached cruising altitude. The flight time was exactly one hour, so the cruise period was passed quickly. It was cloudy below so there was not much to see out the window. Things got a little more interesting as we descended towards Sydney however!

It was exciting to see Qantas A380s and 747s side-by-side!

We quickly reached our parking stand and exited via jetway. Within a matter of minutes I was waiting at the Airport Link train platform for a short 15 minute ride to Sydney's city centre.
