Hi all,
This is a retro FR of mine from around 2 years ago from Stockholm to Oslo.
Arlanda Terminal 5 check ins

Nice to see the Iran Air counter :)

Past security

The international part of Terminal 5

Thai 747-400

Boarding

Take off

Looking back at Arlanda

There were sour biscuits and drinks as service and shortly after around 45 minutes we started the descend into Oslo

A look at the terminal

Then we disembarked using stairs and walked to the terminal and up to the arrival hall

Some pictures of the beautiful city of Stockholm

I hope you enjoyed the FR :)
Thank you for sharing another gorgeous FR with an equally engaging bonus.
The airport experience looked pleasant and it seems that most Scandinavian airports have the trademark of style combined with functionality. I saw an IR A300 landing in GOT, so it's not surprising to see them serving ARN.
Your report brings me back memories of Stockholm when i visited a long time ago. It is a beautiful city made even more attractive by its natural setting. You have a good eye for details and you captured the essence of this city brilliantly.
It's a shame that SK has become such a LCC in terms of catering and service. Not much to say really.
Thanks so much Jetsetpanda. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures and brought back nice memories for you. Very cool that you saw IR in GOT. I'd love to see them in more cities. Hopefully one day soon :)
Thanks for this nice FR. The 747 is not a -300 but a -400 ;)
Thank you Wingslover, I made a typo, it should be 400, thanks for letting me know :)
Thanks for this retro report ! a short hop between the 2 capitals. Do you remember what airline is the B747 in your pic ? Exit through the rear door and via stair is always a nice experience as you can take pictures !
Thanks Skyteamchc, that 747 is Thai. Yes, it's always great to disembark with stairs and take plane pics :)
Thanks for sharing this report, definitely a short hop between these two cities.
I like the lobbies at Scandinavian airports, always very chic with hardwood floors highlighting their natural resources.
Is it normal for ET to send B737s that far? Seems like a long flight on a narrow-body to ADD.
Beautiful tourist bonus of Stockholm, a marvelous city full of charm when it's not frozen and dark.
Thanks NG085, Yes you are right, I loved the hardwood floors especially in Oslo airport. It is so nice and refreshing and a great change from typical airport looks around the world.
Yes, as for ET, I was wondering about the same thing too. maybe they have a connection somewhere when they use a small aircraft like this. It's very interesting.
