Check in for our flight

Going past and looking back at the passport control and the security check

First exploring the B gates on the left wing of the terminal

Back at the central shopping area

Now exploring the A gates at the right wing of the terminal

Sri Lankan crew

Back at the central shopping area and going to the food court that is there

The best place to spot planes is from the windows of the food court as the rest of the airport windows are covered with those stupid dots that prevents taking pictures

Now exploring the long part of the terminal going south to gates C, D and E

The D and E gates are still under construction but there is a section that iss for bus gates that is downstairs at the end of the terminal

Back at our gate

Departing over Doha

This is one of the shortest flights in the world and the shortest I had been to after flying from Vancouver to Seattle couple of years ago. As soon as we took off, around 7 minutes into the flight the captain announced to cabin crew to prepare for landing and they very fast distributed these orange juices and we landed at Bahrain after 20 minutes of light from Doha and the captain said that we are flying only at the altitude of 3 KM from the sea level, very interesting.
The orange juice

Landing

We disembarked along with the passengers going to Bahrain, the rest of people travelling to London remained on board

Some pictures of Bahrain:
Bahrain's capital city is called Manama and is a very clean, safe and a nice city to visit.
Bahraini Dinar is also one of the most strong currencies of the world 1 Bahraini Dinar = $3 USD
The 5 Dinar Bill = $15 USD

10 Bahraini Dinar = $30 USD

Hope you enjoyed this FR :)
Thanks for this Airport Report ;)
DOH is a charmless and gloomy airport
8 is a good mark for a chemical orange juice lol
Gorgeous pictures of Manama
Thanks so much lagensecdet, yes, you are right. The airport looks a bit gloomy for sure.
Thanks for this nice flight-report (or airport report like say Lagentsecret).
It is true that the airport seems very dark. Fortunately, there has in places these beautiful blue esclators^^. ;)
Thanks very much, I'm glad you liked the pics :)
Thanks for another beautiful and unique report! you really worked out and interesting routing on this trip. I had no idea that BA flew this route. You got lucky to get the new cabins, as it seems it is hit or miss on 777s.
Thanks so much Kevin, wow I thought they had refurbishes all their 777s. So I'm very glad that I got a new one :)
Thanks for this FR.
This sure is an interesting way to fly from DOH to BAH.
I'm even surprised a service was even offered on such a short flight.
Thank you. Yes, due to it being a US airline I did not think that they'd offer anything for such short flight.
