Hello and have a great weekend!
So, yesterday I flew home from Johannesburg via Frankfurt. I'd flew on FRA-JNB with LH A388 and FRA-TLV LH A321. So here is the flight report of the long-haul european flight from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv, Israel:
Here I've bought my LH model (Airbus A340-600, 1:200 scale):

I had 5 hours to burn before the flight so I went to C-14 lounge, a nice lounge, not more:
Just came for Chicago:

United 777-200ER and ANA 787-8:

Lufthansa 747-400, D-ABVR just came from Mumbai (I flew on this bird to EZE in 2013)+Sri Lankan Airlines A340-300:

It was the time to go to our gate, the gate was gate C13 with a high security as the flight was to Israel:
It was pretty sad to head back home:

Our bird for today, D-AISG, 15 years old bird, A321-200:

My seat was 28F, photo were taken durning boarding:

Lufthansa A340-300:

Seat was comfortable but there is no PTV or overhead screens on the A321 :(. It was acceptable when flight duration is 1-3 hours but not for 4.5 hours.
Durning the taxi to the runway i took some phoots:

We landed on Runway 30 in Ben Gurion International Airport, no photos from landing because it was rainly.
@Thai-cnx : being friendly and courteous doesn't cost anything. At least a thank you or a hello would be appreciated.
@Yonatan : thanks for your great report, I wouldn't have said that the meal was great, a simple salad, the hot meal looked very bland, but if you liked it, that the most important.
It tasted better than it looked
It's a long haul flight, and the cabin is designed for short haul flights, without IFEs.
What is missing in this report is a conclusion. The grading of th elight itself speak for themselves, but comments on the perfect score of FRA and on the lounge would have been welcome.
Thanks for sharing !
@Esteban : IMO, a meal in economy does not need to look good; if it tastes good and if the quantity is enough, then it is a good meal.
