The airport is really quiet at that time:
Rapidair counters for Air Canada's shuttle between YUL an YYZ and this Star Alliance Airbus:
Then this 744 bound to CDG, one of the three daily flights between the two cities:
I then head upstairs to the lounge, very friendly welcome and I was able to get my boarding passes to AMS and BSL as I was travelling on separate tickets:
The lounge:
I did not take any buffet pictures, but everything was available, I had a 4H layover so I had time to taste a bit of everything:
It was broccoli and cheddar soup (lovely), vegetables with ranch dressing, pasta salad and a kir royal.
Then some ham pastries (overcooked) and something I don't remember what was inside:
A bit of cheese, coffee and a delicious pumpkin pie:
Something to read:
Air Canada 330-300 & 777-300:

Royal Jordanian from Amman:
Swiss from Zurich 330-300:
Air France from CDG 340-300:

Air Canada A 319 retro:
My MD11 arrives, sorry for some pictures being blurry but the 744 was at push back at the same time and the APU heat is clearly seen on some of the pictures. As you'll see, the ramp agents were taking photographs too:
Bye Bye 744:
So long LX:
And the third AF daily flight, a 772:
At boarding time I head for my last flight on a MD11 and again, on Audrey:
Front left door, and a last time the business cabin:
Leg room and an orange juice as welcome drink tonight:
Line up and take off and before lifting of, a look into the Air Inuit maintenance hangar:
Head set and menu:
As usual I have my sweet wine as an aperitif. The starter was the chicken (you may have noticed yourselves that it is not the soup ^^) and some olive oil to dip the bread. Everything was very tasty:
I stay with the chicken for the entree, which was good as well:
And a panna-cotta to conclude the meal:
It was a good dinner, not excellent, but it hit the spot.
I'll sleep a bit, the huge windows allowed to lie down and to star gaze. That was just amazing.
An orange juice was offered before breakfast, hot dishes were not offered and I absolutely don't know why, as I wasn't that hungry anyway:
It was all right. We landed on time in Amsterdam.
Thanks for sharing this lovely report Esteban.
The M11 is a beautiful bird and I am glad that I had a chance to fly it too (on LX).
Catering seemed decent but I think the presentation is not very premium, especially the salad, dessert and yogurt.
Thanks for the report. As always, beautiful spotting on the tarmac.
Nice spotting of the Air Inuit B737-200, they definitely have a unique livery.
Thanks for sharing this great report, which makes a pefect #ThrowbackThursday tweet :-) The AF/KL lounge at YUL is great for planespotting and you got some great shots. What a beautiful bird;so sad that it's gone...no more passenger tri-jets--the end of an era. Of course, I understand it's not fuel efficient.
Thanks again for the beautiful report on Audrey
