Welcome to this report, real new one for me as i almost never took low-cost airlines.
But i decided to spend few days in Wroclaw, and i compared Ryanair and LOT Polish Airlines fares.
LOT ticket in Y = 89€, then 2 passengers means 178€…
RYANAIR offered 2 tickets for 48€ so i decided to try this airline.
They are using Modling Airport, not close from city center as Chopin Airport, but i found regional train to go ther and it's almost direct, for only 15PLN (3,5 euros).

We are leaving from Warszawa wschodnia (Warsaw east station) and waiting train from Central Station to Modlin

Regional trains changed a lot since few years, almsot no more old trains in Warszawa since 2011/2012.

Pitch was excellent :)

Even small IFE with exhibition to see in Warsaw!

Outside Modlin Airport, during this cold november month (i expect snow soon, would be better for Christmas moods)

Arrival Hall, in addition as Wizz Air refused to join WMI after renovation of the runway, i have impression to be in Ryanair Airport….

Views from Shenghen Area

Waiting for boarding,

Boarding! I forgot this feeling to walk to the plane!

November fog…

My plane will be EI-DCR, based in Wroclaw for local connections (WMI, BVA and RYG)

Pitch was ok as my flight would last 40 minutes, but not comfortable, then it's low-cost so i don't expect more…

Then we were landing quickly in Wroclaw, i saw with Edelweiss A320 from my B737-800…I didn't know either LX or Edeleweiss had flight there, but i guess it was probably charter operated by Edelweiss as there are many charters in Poland.

Rynek in Wroclaw

I did not know FR had aircraft based there. For a week-end trip, on such a short route, cheaper yet punctual is better. But you rated the punctuality below 10 : the plane was late ?
Thanks for this report !
Ryanair transfered all their flights to WMI since 2012. it gives opportunity to enjoy WRO or GDN for lower price.
Why writing a report in English when you clearly don't have a good command of it ! Stick to your mother tongue !It's not pleasant to read to be honest !
Pozdrawiam !
Sorry, didn't mean to offend you but it's a fact - It's written in broken english, not pleasant to read !
Such a pleasant comment :-) maybe you should write in your native language (polish for sure) before judging others. would be funny.don't have anything else to say about such stupid comment.
Didin't even know Warsaw had another airport, good to know if need comes!
I guess FR is not so miserable for short domestic hops...I tend to avoid them like the plague when travelling in Europe.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, i will share WAW-POZ next week, i think even on short flights, there is always something new to show :)
Thanks for sharing this report with us.
I first thought that the pitch had improved but it was the seats of the tram ! ;-) just kidding . Ryannair does the job for a short flight and if the price is adequate with the confort it's a good option.
Thanks, i begin to think that there's not huge difference between Ryanair and SN, SAS and LOT...
I remember when Wolfgang Mayrhuber (ex-LH CEO) said that they will never offer lozer services like Ryanair...and finally...
