Today, we're flying from ZRH to LHR via MUC.
I booked this flight as a miles and more award ticket ZRH-MUC-LHR-GVA-ZRH in J for 29k miles and 220chf. It's not the best redemption of 30k miles, but given the cash price was 1700 chf, i got a great value for the miles.
Funnily, the business class was cheaper than the economy fare. (Miles)
As usual, I was lied to by LHG again before the booking. I once inquired if I could attach my TAP *G status if I booked a miles and more award ticket, since I'm only *S on LX. They denied, stating that if a ticket is booked with miles, that respective M&M number cannot be removed. And it was true during booking, but I had no problems changing it after payment was finalized.
Connection in Munich
Anyways, I arrived in MUC with a 30minute delay as usual for the LH Group. We were then bussed to the terminal. At first, I was worried that it's going to be tight, but the bus dropped us off right near the passport control so I took the escalator up and went to the control.

I was really worried when I saw the queue, but apparently, they were without EU passports, as the eGates were completely empty.

I then headed for a really quick lounge visit since I needed to pee and the toilets were queued up.

Therefore, I can't really review the lounge since I did not meaningful time in it. But it looked quite full.
After the toilet stop, I headed to the gate.

I had to get my documents checked again and got seated because WHO WOULD'VE EXPECTED IT - DELAYHANSA IS DELAYED AGAIN. (Crew did not arrive) I wish I'd be lying but in my entire life of flying (and I fly enough to get *G + *S + Skyteam E+ + OneWorld Sapphire at 19) I never had a SINGLE Lufthansa flight that was on time. Combined with their customer service continously lying, terrible onboard service (in eco) and continued delays, I try to avoid the entire Lufthansa Group as much as I can. Flighty literally shows me a 100% delay score for LH, 83% for Edelweiss and 68% for Swiss. This pairs well with most other star alliance carriers I've flown. (Croatia, ITA, Singapore, Air Canada are all at 100%, TP at 33% and and TK at 17%)
Boarding and Cabin
Boarding then started at 11:35.

I'm seated in 5A on today's 7 year old A320neo, named "Landau in der Pfalz", registered as D-AINR.
Legroom was pretty limited for an EU Business Class seat and appeared to be the same as in Economy itself.

Quick peek out of the window

Funny enough, the A350 which is parked next to us was the same one I saw during our parallel landing into MUC earlier. It came from YYZ and is continuing on to CLT. It arrived in MUC delayed as well btw.

There is not IFE screen (as usual) and no power- or USB outlets. However, they at least provided WIFI. Messaging is free of charge if you are a MM Member, surfing is available for purchase unless you fly in First Class. You could watch entertainment on your own device however.
There was no welcome drink, no bottled water and no refreshing towel at the seat.
We pushed back 15 mins behind schedule at 11:59 and took of another 16 mins later at 12:15.

Inflight and Food
It's worth noting that even though it is pretty much exactly lunch time, the meal that was served was cold. It was chicken with rice, beetroot salad and an enderflower tartlet for dessert. They also served a bread roll with salted butter.

Luckily, the refreshing towel was now handed out.
For drinks, I went with a coke an and avionic.

Later, the cabin crew passed through the cabin and handed out lemom flavoured white chocolate.

I would not go so far as to describe the main course as tasty, edible is a more accurate description. It served the purpose tho I would've appreciated a warm meal. The dessert was surprisingly good tho.
Arrival
We then passed over the channel and entered UK territory.

We passed over london but did not see the RAF flyover for the King's Birthday.

We landed 13mins behind schedule but had a very short taxi time of only 4 mins, so in the end, we arrived 7 minutes late.

Immigration was swift and I was released into the luggage hall and the airport soon after.

Now let's enjoy London before flying back tomorrow :)
