Welcome to my review of my first ever Malaysia-Airlines flight on board 9M-MVC, a 1 year old 737 MAX 8 from SIN to KUL.
The trip was part of my ZRH-FRA-SIN-KUL-DEL-ZRH intinerary.

Boarding and Take-Off
One thing I hate about Singapore Changi is the security check at the gate. After a 12h flight on Lufthansa's cramped and old 747-4, the last thing you want is to pass another security control.
Boarding then began late with only about 15 mins left until scheduled departure, however it was completed very quickly (mainly because the flighr was half empty) and we pushed back from the gate 3 mins early.
The cabin was in the usual short-haul 3-3 configuration and legroom was decent.

We love a nicd window seat ;)

On the way to runway 20C, I was able to get a look at the Boeing 747-400, D-ABVY, on which I came in from FRA earlier.

After a quick wait on the runway, we then took off towards Malaysia and we got a beautiful view of Singapores Harbour.

IFE
There were no screens available for IFE, however, MH provided Wi-Fi and an inflight portal, as well as USB-A and USB-C sockets, which actually were not just for decoration. (Take a note, Lufthansa)
Meal Service
I was surprised to receive a little snack on this short flight, which consisted of small cookies, some salted peanuts and a bottle of water.
It is worth noting how FULL that bottle of water was. You actually had to be careful not to spill something on yourself when opening the bottle.

Landing
As usual on this route, the flight attendants passed through the cabin with disinfectant before descent began. I was able to get some views of the beautiful Malaysia before touchdown at 14L.

After about 10mins of taxi we reached Gate G10 and the flight was over.

Immigration went smoothly after a quick wait at the baggage claim I was off to KL.
