Welcome to my new flight report, for the first time flying with WIZZ Air, so I would like to share my experience with you and maybe help some of you to choose if you like this airline.
So, let's start!
BEG - Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport
Depending on which part of the country you are in, there are several options. However, this time we will focus on options if you are in Belgrade or the nearby area.
You can reach the airport by taxi, which is a more expensive but faster option. Another option is using your own car, as there is parking available directly in front of the airport. There is also a drop-off zone where you can stay for a few minutes before being asked to move your vehicle to avoid additional charges.
You can also drive close to the airport and leave your car there at parking for much more affordable price (location shown in the picture - P11 Tesla parking, Aerodrom Parking BG, etc. )
Of course, you can also take a bus, depending on your location in the city (bus 72, A1, 607, etc.), which is also the cheapest option.
After you arrive at the airport, for example by bus, you will see that everything is clearly marked and easy to navigate.
Once you enter the airport at the DEPARTURES area, you will see a screen where you can find your flight and check which check-in counter you need to go to, as well as which part of the building the Wizz Air counters are located in.
In the picture, you can see what the counters look like, and you can also reach them directly by entering the DEPARTURES – Terminal 1 building.
This time, I completed the check-in online since I only had a small bag that fits under the seat, so I didn’t need to go to the check-in counter.
After entering the building, you go immediately to the left and take the stairs up to the next flight information board and the boarding pass control.
After that, you proceed to passport control and the security screening of the luggage you are bringing onto the plane.
Airport layout and overall impresion
Once you pass these checks, you will enter a large duty-free area with many additional shops and clearly marked paths leading to your gate.
Clean, full of natural light, well organized, properly marked, and easy to navigate, with a beautiful view of the runway and airplanes moving along the taxiways — which is especially important for all aviation enthusiasts. The staff is very friendly as well.
All of these are great things worth mentioning when talking about Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.

I like to arrive at the airport at least three hours early so that, after going through all the checks, I have enough time to sit by the window and watch the planes taxiing, taking off, and landing. I also enjoy observing the people who are heading home, visiting someone they love, going on their first solo trip, or traveling for other reasons — because everyone has a different life story in their past, and at that moment, all of them are in the same place.
After the departure board announced the gate number for my flight and once the aircraft had landed, we were all ready for boarding to begin. The pilots and cabin crew were prepared for the next flight, and the boarding process could finally start.

Boarding began, and passengers gathered their belongings and lined up to enter the aircraft.
In the following photos, you can see the seat layout and configuration. The aircraft is an Airbus A321neo, featuring a standard 3–3 configuration. The seat colors are characteristic of the airline’s branding — navy blue and pink.
As you can see, the seat I selected for today’s flight was 10A.

Flight
After we had taken our seats and boarding was completed, the cabin crew began the safety demonstration, and we started taxiing toward the runway.
The cabin crew then checked that everything was ready for departure and that all passengers were safely seated. Shortly after, takeoff began.
In the seat pocket in front of you, you can find the in-flight magazine, the safety card, and an airsickness bag.
Since this is a low-cost airline, there was no complimentary service during the flight. However, inside the onboard magazine, you can find the menu with the selection of food and drinks available for purchase during the flight, or which can be pre-ordered in advance.
The cabin crew will pass through the cabin once to offer food and beverages for sale, and they will also offer other products such as perfumes and similar items.
I always like to see when an airline lists how many aircraft they have in its fleet and which routes they operate.
They put some important details about today's aircraft type too.

After the pilot turned on the seatbelt sign and the cabin crew checked that everything was ready for landing, we touched down shortly after at MLA – Malta International Airport.
At the airport, a shuttle bus was waiting for us. We didn’t disembark via a jet bridge; instead, we exited the aircraft using the stairs and then boarded the shuttle bus, which took us to the terminal to continue our journey.

After landing and being transported by bus to the terminal, you can go through passport control quickly and comfortably, as the airport isn’t very crowded — the entire process can be completed in about 30 minutes.
Once your passport is checked, you can proceed to the baggage claim area.
It’s just a short walk with escalators to reach the baggage claim. On the right side, after descending the escalators, you’ll find the baggage carousels and a duty-free shop. On the left side, there’s an information desk for interesting visits around Malta, as well as the exit from the airport.
Once you exit the airport, you are immediately at the bus stop and the taxi pick-up area, so there’s no need to wander around aimlessly looking for transportation.
