Documenting my recent flying experience traveling with Flydubai to Doha. This is not my first flight, and based out of Dubai, I have flown Flydubai multiple times over a decade. I have been flying with them from when they were only operating as a full economy flight to now operating as a full service carrier. Over the years, they have consistently reaffirmed their status as akin to a full service carrier, from providing meals as standard to IFE free of cost. I have also noticed a considerable change in the service and the customer experience.

A quick check-in and navigation to the gate.
Without getting too much into finer details, Dubai International Airport's Terminal 2 was brief to navigate. From check-in to the gate, the terminal itself is designed for convenience and quick navigation, offering a straightforward layout and environment that makes travel feel effortless. I had a couple of interactions with the Flydubai staff (not the Dnata staff at the check-in counter) and they were conversational about the new dedicated business class check-in counter. Definitely would love to experience it at least once! Check-in and boarding was usual. The only wish is if there was a bridge rather than taking the bus to the aircraft.

The flight departed on time, and I believe it’s because of the evening and not-so-busy schedule. I had selected a standard meal while booking online, and the meal was good but nothing special to speak of. IFE was standard and came with earphones. This is a welcome change and very much needed. Though the fees weren’t higher earlier, it saves the hassle of paying, especially when the card doesn’t work as intended. Good mix of movies, and I took the pleasure of watching the documentary Chernobyl! A good service and smooth flight. No complaint!

Here I am truly stunned by the way the home carrier has grown, and it’s wonderful to see so many options from Dubai. Definitely, this helps me most of the time considering they fly from Terminal 2. It resolves the constant headache of navigation through endless walks in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
This is not a flight report. There is no single photo from the flight itself.
