Introduction
Hello amigos!
Welcome to Part 2 of a flight between Bogotá and Istanbul on Turkish Airlines' 777-300. Back then, the longest flight out of BOG.
You may see Part 1 and the other flights on this series here:

And without further ado… back to our Triple Seven awaiting for its new batch of pax @ PTY.
Stopover in Panamá
Because of Bogotá's altitude, the 777 cannot make it from BOG to IST. Thus TK had to think of a stopover, and what better than the Hub of the Americas.
As normal in Panamá, it was quite humid.

We were asked to identify all of our bags before the PTY-IST pax were allowed in.

In the meanwhile I read about the original peoples inhabiting Bogotá, the Muiscas

The crew passed around and handed us headphones. Quite good for Y-class.

I explored the IFE and found the Quran…I've tried to listen to its recitations before, it may be soothing sometimes.

Enroute to Istanbul
The prayer marked the begining of the flight.

12 hours to go

Cabin lights were dimmed.

Boeingland.

We alligned with RWY 03R for takeoff, direct towards the northeast

Tonight's menu

Amenity kits were also handed out

About two hours in, as we neared Cuba, we were handed our dinner

I had chicken, the mrs. went with pasta.

Verdict: Okay. Not amazing. Not up to what I expected. I may have had better meals on AF, KL or IB.
After the meals were picked up I did a little tour back to the WC.

The back galley had drinks and more food on demand. What a difference with cheap IB.

The toilet's state was…well…

And now let's get some sleep.
I woke up 4 hours

If I'm not wrong we made landfall over France

We then crossed over Switzerland, Austria…and now it get's murky but we also passed over Belgrade

Live news are always appreciated.

Oh…hi there!

Breakfast time, we again chose the two different options for adequate FR reporting.

It was much better than the dinner. Nowadays we seldom have breakfast served on Y class between Latam and Europe, so this was much appreciated.
And now…Beograd!

As we neared our destination, some ads were run through everyone's PTV

Istanbul never ceases to impress

And so our flight came to an end

Game over

Last view of our ride at destination.

Immigration was quick and we waited for our bags and other friends arriving from other places to head together to the city.
