Hi,
There was a huge crowd at the Copa check in area in Terminal J of MIA.
Also the queue at the priority desks moved very slowly and so the check in took almost 30 minutes.

Also security took long and finally we were airside.
We visited the Turkish Airlines Lounge which is ok. It was very crowded and felt cramped.

Still the buffets offered some tasty choices.

Some views on the apron walking to my gate.

Boarding to our 737 MAX started on time.

I took my very comfortable window seat for this ca. 2 hour flight to Panama City.

The friendly crew soon distributed a welcome drink (water or juice) in plastic cups.

Also offered were some nice noise cancelling headsets.

Because of some boarding / passenger counting problem we left the gate with a delay of ca. 30 minutes.

Adding more delay while queuing up for departure.
Finally taking off and having some nice views of Florida.

Including the keys while heading South.

Copa still offers a printed inflight magazine.

Service took extremely long to start - only 45 minutes into the flight the friendly cabin crew offered some warm snacks and a first drink. He also asked for the main course choice from two options were I decided for some chicken.

Starter and main course were served on one tray:

Finishing the meal later with some dessert and a coffee.

The whole meal was good and I enjoyed the calm atmosphere in this nice cabin.
We started our descend into some heavy clouds and rain. Only close to touchdown we had to abort the landing, cycle for another 30 minutes without a proper explanation and then finally we landed at a rainy Panama City.

A view on this nice KLM Dreamliner after disembarkation.
