In the afternoon, we took a taxi and brought us to the airport directly. The airport is located in the southern part of the city which is not too far away from the city center. There were only a few people at Cathay's check-in desk, in just a few minutes we checked our luggage to Hong Kong. The airport terminal is that big, and it just has 12 boarding bridges.

Before we headed for the air-side, I brought some souvenirs at the shop.

There were just a few flight leaving in the evening, totally not busy at all.

I passed through the immigration with the automatic gate, hence there was no departure stamp on my passport.

In just a few minutes I arrived at my gate 22. For the rest of the time until boarding, I sat in front of the gate and waited.

Boarding eventually started at 18:54pm.

We made a u-turn immediately after take off and headed southwest to leave the island.

Throughout the flight I just listened to some music.

Shortly after takeoff, cabin light was turned on again. About 15 minutes after takeoff, dinner was served. There was only one choice of pork with rice. Together one the tray, they service also a bottle of water and metal cutlery.

After the meal service, I visited the lavatory.

At 20:08pm, announcement from the cockpit that we were 30 minutes away from landing.

We approached Hong Kong Airport from the South. At 20:28pm, cabin light was turned off and flaps were lowered for landing.
