After a wonderful experience in Colombia, the time flew by and quickly arrive the day came back home in Sweden.
The first flight BOG-CDG was scheduled for 17:20, so we had to go with my parents to the airport about 13:00, arrived quickly to ElDorado Airport despite the several road works in the avenue, with some lanes closed, but anyway to 13:30 we were already coming to the terminal.
Looking for a place to get off the taxi
We arrived and immediately proceeded to check-in line which had not yet begun, but there was about 20 people already formed in front of me, the line moved quickly and in less than 3 minutes on the counter and get my luggage tagged to Sweden and my boarding pass in hand.

Then i proceed to the passport control
This is how was looking the gate area, some people watching the soccer game of the world cup.

Around 16:45 boarding started whose order was the usual, firstly passengers in business class and premium economy, after that passengers with special needs; and finally economy class passengers. As my seat was in row 40, I could get in faster.

The push back started on time, and we take-off about 5:45pm

During ascent the crew distributed the headphones, a sleeping mask and a refreshing towel.

I chose the second option with white wine
After dinner, the crew turn off lights so passengers could rest better, I had no desire to watch movies so I put the flight map and doze for a few hours while the crew remained active, distributing occasionally drinks and ice cream service in mid-flight.
When I woke up and went on the Azores and it was dawn outside
The breakfast was served one hour befor landing
We arrive on time at 11:00am
i passed smoothly and went to the baggage-arrivals area

The flight is standard Air France coach...maybe the catering is better with two hot meals (South American lines ?)

Seems you had quite a long transit in CDG. Did you go to Paris in between flights?
The grades regarding confort are average, what was the problem according to you? (I found AF A340 seats pretty uncomfortable as well)

Catering looks decent and the breakfast is better than those served on flights from North America East Coast.

It's a shame AF hasn't taken care of their A343s, they surely look battered, and the miniscule PTV doesn't help. The catering looked OK, almost the same offering as LH on the BOG-FRA route, both much better that what AV offers to Europe.
Did they hand the water bottles to everyone or just to those who requested water? That brand is charged expensively in restaurants here in Colombia (even when it's not anything out of ordinary)!
