This was the first flight of many for the summer, I had chosen SAS as stockholm was a much cheaper option as a layover on my way to athens, rather than Aegean or Ryanair. This flight was my first on SAS and also my second on an A320Neo.
The journey started as ever with an hour or so coach ride to LHR - My most frequently flown airport.
Flight SK534 to Stockholm originates from T2 of LHR - The Queens Terminal

Check in went smoothly - As I booked on SAS GO, I had a 23KG bag as well as a cabin bag and underseat bag.
I used T2s self check-in kiosks, showing my passport, in exchange for my boarding pass and luggage tag.
After tagging my bag i headed towards bag drop and swiftly had it on the conveyor and through to systems.
Security at T2 is smooth as usual with a separate lane opening up just as i get there, meaning im through in a matter of minutes.
Thankfully, i use the Flighty app and ive known my gate for a couple of hours already, meaning i can head straight there without having to wait at the screen to see my gate announced.
This flight boards at A26 regularly, at the far side of the terminal.
Boarding goes smoothly, with desk agents coming through the line to scan tickets and check passports.

Upon boarding, I'm greeted by a friendly member of the cabin crew, who checks my boarding pass once again. Luckily, I've been given a window seat on the left side of the aircraft - 25A, just behind the wing. Im greeted at my seat by a standard assortment of safety cards and sickness bag etc- with a lovely sunset out of the window.

We pushed back from gate A26 early, Taxiing is as usual, making our way to 27L, alongside a beautiful Ethiopian A350 bound for Addis Ababa.

As we make our way onto runway 27L, we start spooling up the engines, performing a rolling takeoff, with not much time to think. Upon takeoff we pass the cargo facilities in the southwesterly part of the airport.

Takeoff is greeted with a lovely sunset fading over the UK, with us following the sunset slightly, with an orange horizon lasting until approach into Stockholm Arlanda.

Upon cruising for our roughly 2.5hr flight, cabin crew gave the complimentary water, tea or coffees, served in the normal SAS cups.
There was a wifi service on the flight, offering different tiers of connectivity, such as messaging and emails, or streaming and gaming. These tiers cost around 5 and 10 GBP.
Our approach into Stockholm went over the more rural parts of the country, passing small towns and villages, sadly i did not get a glimpse of stockholm itself. Our approach was much the same, shrouded in darkness, with the occasional cars headlights or house lighting the fields. Our approach lined us up onto Runway 19R

After landing, we taxiid to gate 22, of Arlandas Terminal 5.

Airport experience
After landing, i was able to visit the flight deck, and had a lovely chat with the f
