REPORT
Here I am in Hong Kong airport waiting for my next flight to Beijing. Here is my aircraft operating this flight, A330-300.
Boarding 10min late
The cabin is equipped with the new cabin. Not every A333 are equipped with this cabin. Legroom is fantastic for this flight of 3h. There's also a PTV, for 3h flight!!

Safety Instructions, seems we are ready for departure?
So 10min after the Safety Instructions the captain announced that we are stuck at the gate for 50min because of the traffic in HKG and in Global Air Space in China. Then after those 50min, he announced that we have to wait 3 hours for our departures. The flight has been delayed to 20:30. He said that we are able to disembark the plane in 1h. Just after I disembark the plane, a F/A give me a 75HK$ coupon in order to eat while waiting in HKG. The food court in HK was closed and they were only 3 restaurants open.
SOOOO after 2 hours in plane I here again in HKG trying to get some food, with the 75HK$ Cathay gave me.

Nope haha, go around. So I have to explain clearly. The ATC and the Captain aborted the landing, because of a rabbit on the runway, so we have to do a go around, and 30min approach.

I think CX is the best airline that one can fly between HKG and mainland China. Another good option is KA from what I have heard, but CX is more prestigious. However, the meal could have been better and at least CX should have provided a better dessert instead of a Toblerone bar and a proper appetizer. This meal would have been acceptable if it departed late after dinner time, but the dept. time and flight length calls for a true dinner.
The only comparable European carrier that serves a meal on intra-European flights in Y would be TK. Then again, whether one considers Turkey an European country is another story (or debate).
