I didn't really want to fly a LCC, but on this route and at times that worked best for me, they were just so much cheaper it wasn't worth it to go on BA and other flag carriers were even more expensive.
Ryanair, Wizz Air and easyJet were all similar prices, and of the three I've had the best experience with easyJet in the past, so I wanted to go with them over the others.
Of the easyJet flights, this was the best timings wise, and it went to Luton which was the best airport for me.
The base fare was just €19 and went up to €57 with bags, still quite reasonable.

Welcome to Milan Malpensa terminal 2, unfortunately I was quite late because of traffic.

I believe Terminal 2 is just easyJet.
There was a passport check to get into the bag drop area and a short, fast moving line after that.
It was all self-service, though there were plenty of staff around helping.

There were screens here that said gates closed 30 minutes before departure, so that gave me less than half an hour for everything.
The security long was quite long, but luckily that moved quickly as well.
A lady who was also going to London lost her passport in the security area, the staff there said there was nothing they could do and she had to go to the police. If she was on the Luton flight I'm not sure if she could have made it by that point.
These are the T2 departures this morning.

Non-Schengen flights departed from downstairs. I got there less than 30 minutes before scheduled departure so the gate was meant to be closed already, but there was another screen there which said it was still boarding.
There was no line for immigration, which was in a small area downstairs.

Luckily my gate was right after immigration, and there was still a fairly long line. I could cut ahead as I had priority boarding, which came along with the cabin bag purchase.

Everyone needed to go outside to board.

The Luton plane was on the other side. G-EZAO, a 19.5 year old A319.

The line to the plane was quite slow moving.

LATAM and Turkish are among the airlines parked at distant Terminal 1.

There was rear boarding too, but almost everyone went to the front for some reason.

easyJet going to Gatwick, I think.

The line was moving especially slow on the stairs, good thing there was a decent view from there.

My seat was in row 3 but the overhead bins were all full, no idea why people can't just put their suitcases above their seats… there wasn't anything open until row 17.
Anyway, my seat. The interior on the A319s is an old one.

The seatback pocket contained a safety card, sickness bag, and a food and shopping menu.

Some stuff was reasonably priced, some not so much.

There were overhead lights and vents though my vent was incredibly difficult to turn.

I was in the middle seat so taking pictures was a bit hard, but I saw quite a few international airlines including American Airlines, LATAM, El Al, Middle East Airlines and Hainan Airlines.

There were also some incredible views from the air, until my seatmate closed the window.

While they don't advertise it anywhere, free water was offered on this flight. I was going to buy some but didn't have to. The flight attendent said it was "tap water," I assume it was safe to drink.
The same thing happened when I last flew easyJet Venice-Luton in 2022, but I thought it was a one off thing to apologize for the delay on that flight. Seems like it's actually a general policy, though.

The crew were quite friendly and cheerful, especially for a low cost carrier. A lot better than Ryanair or Wizz Air, they made me feel like I'd made the right decision with choosing this flight.
The lavatory was a bit dirty.
Partial cabin view.

Without much else happening, we landed in Luton. I had to wait for almost everyone to leave so that I could go back to the row 17 overhead bin. At least I could get some seat and cabin pictures!

I got off from the rear exit.

Good views of the plane as well.

It was a bit of a walk to immigration, but no line and it was only a few seconds at the counter. My last time in Luton, the immigration area was pretty much a shed. This time it seemed more like an airport.
This said bags were "in hall" already but it took a few more minutes for them to start arriving.

And that's all for this one. Soon I'll be heading back to India on Oman Air again.
Thanks for reading.
