Hi,
Being on transfer I first enjoyed some great views of the apron at Rome FCO:

The blue color of ITA looks very stylish in my opinion.

I headed to the ITA Hangar Lounge in the Schengen area.

The Lounge is not the biggest but looks very stylish.

It has a nice bar style atmosphere.

The buffet however is very small and the food selection very limited. Still the provided snacks this afternoon were of a good quality and tasty.

My selection including a freshly prepared tasty Aperol Spritz - very Italian style :)

A view of my A220 before boarding:

Boarding started with a short delay and soon I entered the modern and stylish cabin.

My seat was in the last row of Business Class today. Seat pitch was very good.

The comfortable seat offers a clever device holder as well.

Soon the very friendly purser offered a glass of water or orange juice from a tray - I had the juice.

We left the gate and climbed out towards the sea.

The flight of 1 hour 20 minutes started with some views of Italy heading North.

Quickly the purser handed over a tray of snacks. All tasted good and the pizza snack and nuts were warm which was very good.

The cutlery is nice and still branded with Alitalia showing the routes of the company:

Drink orders were also taken and I had a glass of wine with water. ITA has some strange service protocol of serving some drinks on real glasses and some in plastic - this is not very nice for Business Class as all should be in glassware.

The ITA streaming service was available on your personal device as well.
Refills were offered frequently by the friendly lady and she took very good care of the 6 guests in Business Class this afternoon. I had a cup of coffee as well. Later I finished with a Limoncello.

Some views over the crowded Alps as service finished with a sweet farewell bonbon.

Soon descend started and we landed on time.

Parking next to a Lufthansa widebody.

Thanks for reading,
