Hi,
Due to my LH Gold status I had access to the priority check in counter where the process was quick and friendly.
Once airside I visited the AENA VIP Lounge Paul Casals to which I also had access due to my LH Gold status (Lufthansa Group took over ITA this year and constantly rolls out benefits within this year to their frequent flyer members).
The Lounge is big and offers some nice areas.
The buffet offers a good selection as well:

On the way to the gate the terminal offers some very nice views of the apron.

Boarding was on time and soon I reached my window seat at the back of the cabin.
Seat pitch was quite tight and the aircraft felt very worn.
We started our taxi and took off for the 1 hour 30 minutes flight across the Mediterranean to Rome.
Soon the complimentary drink and snack service started - great that ITA still offers this free of charge.
I had a coffee, some water and some sweet snack.
Crossing some nice islands.
ITA also offers some streaming service but it did not work 100%.
Descend started soon.
Landing on time at a sunny Rome.
Parking next to a Portuguese neighbour.
