Swadee Khrap / Namaste everyone 🙏
This is yet another exciting flight onboard one of my favourite airlines i.e Thai AirAsia. This time I got to fly on one of their older A320s reg. (HS-BBL) A320-216 (SHARKLETS) an 11.4 years old (as of Aug 2025) aircraft.

The flight was on time and I was as always one the first to board thanks to AirAsia's absolute kind staff who always lets me baord first when I kindly request them as I have to take videos and photos for my flight reports.
Its always nice to fly these vintage A320s given their engine sounds are almost a rarity in the "Neos world" we live in though this particular A320 cabin was fitted with a weird seats to window configuration cause whenever I book my flights onboard a 320 or 321 I've flown em so many times that I know exactly which seat is best for filming while being comfortable. However, this airrcaft's seat row 20 (My seat 20F) had the window placed half occupied by front seat and the one behind was visible to me so it was quite a task to film onboard this one but thats my job so I have to do it anyways.

The flight was almost full with just a few seats vacant given this route is quite popular as its the main route for Indian tourists, families, relatives from not just my homebase (LKO) but even nearby towns like Varanasi,Kanpur,Gorakhpur,Prayagraj etc and also for Thai pilgrims visiting Kushinagar,Srawasti,Sarnath etc which are the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in my state.
Thai AirAsia is actually increasing the frequency of this flight from 4 flights a week to to 5 flights a week from November this year which is the start of Buddhist pilgrimage season and it also starts its seasonal flights to Bodhgaya (GAY) the most sacred site in buddhism.
Besides Thai AirAsia, Air India Express also connects Lucknow to Bangkok (BKK) with 4 weekly flights but I personally prefer Thai AirAsia.

We tookoff right on time and intrestingly due to heavy runway side construction of a prallel taxiway we took off from mid turnpad instead of backtracking to the end of runway 27 and hopefully this parallel taxiway should be ready by the end of this year then the runway of my homebase will further be extended to 3500 meters which is currently 2744 meters.
The takeofd was smooth and after making a turn to the left and on course to the south east direction of Bangkok we began our ascent to 35000 FT as the crew prompted their inflight services.

I had pre ordered my Thai Boba Milk tea and a bottle of water and I got this huge cup filled with ice and a bottle of Thai Boba Milk tea along with a straw with a chang Mineral water bottle.
The taste of the milk tea was fantastic given it was iced so it just got better and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This time I decided to purchase the Thai AirAsia A320Neo model and it costed just 990 THB and I must say this aircraft model is super detailed with real registration and a Thai flag.
They also have A330-300 models too but I love the 320s so I went with this one.
Im super impressed with the quality.

After over 2 and a half hours we began our descent into Bangkok and I could see the beautiful night lights of my second home as we made our final approach into RWY 21L of DMK.
And we arrived about 16 minutes earlier than the scheduled arrival time which is always amazing.
Overall a great flight with Thai AirAsia and I hope you all enjoyed this flight report along with the flight report on youtube.
Thank you for reading/watching.
