After spending a perfect Dragon Boat Festival holiday in Shanghai, I chose to take China Eastern Airlines' C919 back to Guangzhou. Two days before departs, my flight was estimated to be fly by B-919A, the first C919 entering service. But on the departure day, it was changed to B-919D, the forth C919 of China Eastern. But due to the poor space of the bin, my 20' suitcase had been asked to be checked

After boarding, I found the comfort of the seat to be very high. Although there was no screen on the back of the seat, the resolution of the ceiling-mounted TV was excellent. Since it is a new plane, all the facilities inside are in great condition, and the lavatories are also very clean.

As a special bonus for C919, the meal are different from other flights, which is also delicious. They offered my a chinese style meal, with a cake exclusive for C919 and a Shanghai specialty sweet milk

Thanks to the new engine and the better aerodynamic design, this aircraft is much quieter then the B737NGs and the A320ceo family.

At last, is the flightlog of this flight. Thank for the captain help me fill the flightlog, and also thank all crew cabin's service

Welcome to the site and thanks for sharing this FR on MU's C919 product, a product I've haven't had the chance to try yet. As you mentioned, catering looks better than on regular domestic routes with a tray service and fresh starter/dessert. MU's overall product is good, and could be the best domestically if they were to adopt streaming services like CA and made the decision to install USB-C on these newer cabins found on the C919/A320neos.
Nice first report and good to see a review on the C919! Looks like a very good experience and it helps that the C919 has the widest seats in Economy compared to other narrowbodies aside from maybe A220s. The catering does indeed look very good!
Thank you for sharing and welcome!
