Review of Korean Air flight from Seoul to Busan in Economy

Arrive at Gimpo like a celebrity. Except no one’s looking. No papparazzi. Just the cold stare of the check-in agent who’s clearly seen better hairlines.

I breeze through security ..the only place in Korea where people ask me to undress and mean it professionally.

The X-ray scanner sees my soul. It’s empty, but TSA waves me through anyway.

The metal detector beeped.. It’s probably detecting my emotional baggage.
Lets go to gate

Every five minutes, I check if the plane has left without me. Trust issues? Yes clearly!

I zone out so hard they call my name three times before I notice I’ve been upgraded to “That One Passenger.”

Priority boarding? No. I board with the rest of the defeated economy class herd, our eyes collectively void of dreams.

I shuffle onto the plane like a Victorian orphan. The flight attendant says “welcome,” I whisper “why.”

I make eye contact with 33A. He’s already spread into 14B. I’m 33B. God help us both.
My ex wouldnt care about this tho.
I am sure she is having fun with her new guy who is honestly much more attractive than me… Why am I talking about that

I figured why Im talking about that, its because I am sending her a message while I am finding my seat

The view around me

Because the flight will be full and I got tired , I will not take picture of the rest of the flight .

Arrival at the airport

I step off the plane like I just escaped a tax audit. Sunlight hits me. I flinch.
Back in Busan. Nothing’s changed .. except I’m 2,000 calories hungrier and still as single as when I boarded.
