Hi,
Check in was quick and friendly and soon I was airside.

The International terminal was quiet at this time of the day and I only spotted our waiting Singapore A350 and a Virgin Australia/Qatar wetlease flight to Doha.

Quickly I headed to the Singapore Airlines Lounge.

The Lounge is small but offers a nice and calm atmosphere.

The buffet has a good choice.

My small selection:

Boarding started perfectly on time and I was greeted by the friendly crew. I took my window seat in the small rear Business cabin.

This flight was operated by SQs medium range configuration which has those Business seats and does not offer any Premium Economy cabin.

The cabin felt very modern, well in shape and this seat also is comfortable and offers enough space and stowage. It also can convert to a full flat bed. Still the seats on SQs long range configuration planes are more spacy and more comfortable in my opinion.

Slippers and a menu was already at the seat.
The menu:

A welcome drink was offered followed by a hot towel.

Today the cabin was only half full and it was a very calm and relaxed atmosphere on board.

Taking off on time for this ca. 7 hours flight across Australia to Singapore.

Banking out with nice sea views.

Soon an aperitif with tasty warm nuts was offered.

Followed about 45 minutes later with a relaxed and tasty lunch in multiple courses.

The main course of lamb curry:

Finishing with a tasty dessert cake:

Sunset was nice and just 1 hour 30 minutes before landing a small evening meal was served. I opted for the cold salad.

We landed on time while it was already dark outside.
