Hi,
Self service luggage drop off was quick that morning at Qantas Domestic Terminal.
Airside the terminal offers very nice apron views in a calm atmosphere:
Boarding started on time and at the gate there was a trolley were everybody could grab headsets for the inflight entertainment. On my plane no individual monitors were available however entertainment streaming on your own device.
The cabin already showed several signs of age. Still the worn seats were comfortable.
A view out of the window while the crew played a safety video on the monitors on the ceiling.
We taxied to the runway and left Sydney on time with some nice views.
Soon the cabin crew offered a complimentary snack and drink service. A very nice gesture on this short 1 hour 15 minutes flight to Queensland.
We soon started our descend with amazing views on the colorful sea and some very nice islands during final approach.
Quickly we reached our parking position and I disembarked via the rear stairs.
