Hi,
Being on transit I visited the Singapore SilverKris Business Lounge.

The lounge is huge and has many nice different areas. It was already quite crowded this morning.

The buffet offers plenty of tasty choices.

I only selected a few items as I was not very hungry.

I also had a shower - the cabins are very stylish and of good quality.

On the way to my gate I spotted some nice widebody action:

Reaching my older 777 that would take me to Sydney today.

Boarding started slightly delayed and I took my (semi) window seat in the huge rear Business cabin. The cabin was still in good shape but you could definitely see the age of this older Triple Seven.

Unfortunately it had a misaligned window.

Already on the seat were a menu, slippers and an amenity kit (which is unusual for SQ as they normally only distribute amenity kits, socks etc. upon request).

A welcome drink of champagne.

Followed by a nice hot towel on the ground:

The headsets provided:

Taxiing out and leaving Singapore for a flight of ca. 7 hours to Sydney.

A look at the menu of today's flight:

I started with another glass of champagne and tasty satay sticks as aperitif:

Next the table was set for lunch:

Some warm bread was offered as well from a basket.

Next was a tasty Japanese style beef main course which I had ordered in advance via Book the Cook.

Followed by dessert trolley.

The whole meal tasted very good and the flight progressed smoothly.

Ca. 1 hour 30 minutes out of Sydney a light arrival meal was served. I took the warm option of tasty prawn noodles.

We landed on time at Sydney.
