Connecting through CDG - Little complex but relatively quick
Connecting through CDG took around 1 hour since our connecting aircraft was in the same terminal. After connecting, we looked around the terminal while waiting for our aircraft, which had many duty-free stores and luxury brands. I was also able to do some plane spotting thanks to the large windows!

F-GZNH, our aircraft for today. While the paint doesn't look too old, the aircraft came into service 10 years ago, so I am curious as to what the interior is like.
Quick boarding, dated interior
Boarding was pretty quick, but when we entered the aircraft we found the cabin to be quite dated, still retaining Air France's old IFE's and seats.

Our seat for today, 19A. The seat right in front of us got lucky with extra legroom! (second to last row of economy)

The IFE screen is pretty large, with physical buttons for power, brightness, and volume. We will look at it more during cruise.

Had so many memories on international flights back in the 2010's with IFE remotes. Old but still useful!

A usb outlet was available, but I found the charging speed very slow. Universal Power Outlets were available below, however.

The seat features a large fabric holder below the tray table. Surprisingly, the fabric did not have any stains and looked pretty clean, though I know on some other airlines these can get pretty gross…

A blanket and pillow was available on this flight, with a much higher quality pillow then my flight from DFW - CDG. I also received a sanitary kit and mask, just like my flight from DFW-CDG. Recline was also available for my seat
Shocking… crack between the vent and floor of my aircraft.
Felt a little scary holding my phone while recording takeoff footage as right below me was a major crack between the vent and floor of the aircraft. Thankfully this route is now operated by a A350-900, definitely needs it considering the demand from CDG-BOM.

Lunch over the Balkans

And after a almost one hour delay, we have taken off from CDG!

Finally out of cloudy Paris, nice to see some sun after so many hours!

The Indian Vegetarian meal was subpar, the hot meal lacked taste, and the bread was pretty hard. But when comparing to other European airlines, this was pretty good!
Poor touch screen functionality, slow IFE, and faulty headphones
The IFE had poor touch screen functionality, but luckily the remote came in handy. However, even with the remote, the IFE was slow to navigate due to its age. The headphone jack also had issues with the audio frequently cutting throughout the flight. Regardless, the IFE content was relatively up to date.

Amazing pre-arrival snack, loved it!

Oil rigs near Qatar in low exposure mode - Sony DSC W80
The pre-landing yogurt, sandwich, and chocolate were great as we approached the end of the flight over the Arabian sea. Other then the food service, the cruise was mostly uneventful.

With most of the delay made up for during cruise, we arrived a few minutes late in Mumbai!
