The check in process for Norse Atlantic Airways at Los Angeles LAX was long. There is no online , kiosk or automated way to check in to Economy Light flights. I got to the airport 4 hours before my flight, and there was already a line of people waiting to check in. You check in at LAX Terminal 2, then after you get a paper ticket, you are made to walk over to Terminal 1 One. There you go through security TSA, and get on a shuttle bus afterwards that takes you to Tom Bradley International Terminal B. Then you wait there in that terminal for your flight. I made sure to pre check my bags (one carry on limit 10kg and one personal item limit 8kg) I weighed my bags at home, so I already knew they would pass the weight check . With enough force I was able to jam them into the metal checking size box. Turns out the gate agent didn't even ask about size or weight of my bags. They did ask what was in my plastic bag, and that was all the food I bought at my local grocery store (Ralphs / Krogers) for food to eat on the plane. Nor did they ask or check my bags when I was boarding the flight, but I already knew if they did I would be covered and not get extra charges. The boarding process was easy, the flight employees were friendly, we left on time and arrived on time. The in flight selection was limited to about 100 movies, but that was plenty for me, I watched two of them and then took a nap. The staff were friendly, the passengers were also well behaved, except for the child behind me, he proceeded to mule kick the back of my chair for the next 10 hours. Very annoying, but that happens. His parents didn't seem to concerned about his behavior. I expected this from passengers on a discount airlines. Sometimes people don't have any manners. The meals , dinner was 30 dollars more, so I opted to not get it, I brought plenty of sandwiches and snacks, also the lunch snack was 20 extra dollars, so I also opted out of that one as well. Again I used my own snacks. So all said, it was $312 dollars with ticket, taxes and airport fees, and that was a very good price I would fly this airline again to have a super inexpensive flight to Europe. This is a lot of extra details that I hope make my review more complete. If you want to see some video of the experience, It would be great if you went to my YT channel.
