Hello everyone ! Today I’m travelling back to Paris from New York JFK Airport onboard Norse Atlantic Airways’ Boeing 787.
! : Keep in mind that it wasn’t meant for me to do a flight report so some elements will be missing and I apologize in advance for that.
I arrived at the sky train of JFK in order to go to Terminal 7. From the train, we had a great view of the bigger terminals. JFK's Terminal 7 is small but with not that much traffic so the security is pretty efficient. The terminal has the essential shops, nothing more, nothing less.
And by 11:30 pm we’re able to board our 787 !

Welcome on board Norse Atlantic’s Economy cabin on the 787, featuring a comfortable 3-3-3 layout. The seats were actually quite decent with standard width and legroom you’d expect from a typical economy seat, along with a responsive touchscreen for entertainment.
For a low-cost long-haul product, I found the seats to be pretty good overall.
However, as expected with Norse’s pricing model, there were no included extras: no pillow, blanket, or onboard service, unless you had purchased them in advance.

The IFE was very (very) basic but efficient.
The movie selection included around 100 titles, which is quite decent for a low-cost carrier. Other than that you only had TV shows and flight info that’s it.
That means there were no live flight maps or external camera views (yes it’s not an a350 which is more common on those), which is a bit of a disappointment for aviation enthusiasts like myself 😭.

I know it’s a low-cost carrier, but I still have to say a few words about the service.
For an 8-hour transatlantic flight, you’d at least expect some basic complimentary items like water or earphones — but nope, nothing. Everything had to be purchased, including the most essential things. Plus, the offers on the menu were very expensive.
Throughout the flight, I only saw the cabin crew three times: during take-off, during the paid snack service, and at landing. For the rest of the time, they stayed in the galley, and didn’t once walk through the cabin to check on passengers.
More surprisingly, no pre-landing check was done ! they didn’t even ensure seatbelts were fastened, which is quite concerning from a safety perspective.
Also, all announcements were made exclusively in English, which I found quite unprofessional given that we were flying to Paris. Not a single announcement in French. Imagine passengers who don’t speak English well. For security and inclusivity, this really should be improved.
By the way here’s the legroom situation which is pretty good. I measure 175cm and the photo was made in x0.5

We arrive in Paris after a difficult overnight flight. I managed to sleep a little thanks to a free row but otherwise it would have been impossible for me.

And with that we’ve arrived at CDG Terminal 3 ! The arrival was very fluid and efficient and with no time we picked up our bags and went to the RER B train station taking us to Paris quickly.
