Checking in - Free Carry-on and quick experience
Checking into American Airlines was a hassle-free experience, and DFW was pretty calm for a Saturday Morning. I appreciate the free carry-on included in the ticket, which is not offered by some airlines in basic economy.
As for the airport, while the check-in area is no different from when renovations began, the new TSA security line estimated time board is a really helpful feature for travelers!
Terminal C renovation going great so far

As of October 2023, the new renovations at Terminal C have been going great so far! I really appreciate the new design in comparison to Terminal A, B, and E, with the digital displays showing how many minutes until boarding and the Standby list.
Minor delay, impolite gate agent

While boarding was on-time and was relatively quick, the gate agent for todays flight was a little impolite while confirming something with us before we boarded. Once we boarded, there was a minor delay of roughly 15-20 minutes.
Average seat pitch, usb outlet and personal device holder

While its still unfortunate that the Oasis cabin does not have a IFE, in comparison to Delta and United who offer it on almost all of their narrowbody fleet, I do appreciate that AA has added a personal device holder on their seats, right next to the USB outlet. The holder fit my iPhone 8, so even if you don't bring a tablet you can still use it.
The seat has a large seatback pocket, a universal power outlet, and relatively average seat pitch.
Solid PIFE product, expensive Wi-Fi prices

The personal in-flight entertainment product is well done, with many movies, tv-shows, music, and live-tv. You can also watch Apple TV and Apple Music free of charge when flying with American.
On the downside, the Wi-Fi prices are really steep, with prices starting at $15 for a ONE HOUR pass. However, if you have T-Mobile, you can access the in-flight Wi-Fi for free, and I was also able to access the Wi-Fi for free through a special promotion, which gives it to you after watching a ad for 20 minutes. The speeds were pretty fast at 45 Mbps.
Complimentary Biscoff and drink, multiple breakfast options

Various complimentary beverages were available

A fruit and cheese plate, breakfast bag, sea salt almonds, and pringles were available on the flight. Not too many options, but still pretty decent value.

Sprite and Biscoff… pretty weird combo, but still tasted good!

By coincidence we were flying just above the clouds during cruise!

Early landing despite the delays!
